This story only complies to show canon up to season 8. Not because I didn't like season 9, I just haven't seen it yet.

I'd call this a version of the show that's more focused on a teen audience than a child one. That means gender and sexuality exploration, loss, relationships stronger than friendships, and even domestic abuse.
Chapters will not be released chronologically. Yes, they will be ordered as such upon release but that does not correspond to the writing schedule. There are chapters that I will be more motivated to work on than one that takes place before it, so watch out buddy.

What is Osteomyelitis? I’ve never heard of that before.

Look it up if you wanna know more but basically it's a bone disease that weakens the structure and has a danger to spread to the rest of the skeletal system. In Spitfire's case she had leg surgery once and it developed quickly following the surgery. She had to get it amputated and retired afterwards.
