Can't wait to hear Rainbow's reaction to what happened, thanks t SPite Fire and that triator, so many unicorns died and many more were injuried, and sure Moon Dancer where ever she is hearing the news she helped in some way as well.

If you meant "Source", then you can find it by hovering over the picture and clicking the box in the lower-right corner.

Hope the the horrors that manic commited reaches the Wodner bolts, will make Spitfire regert all the more how she helped that manic even if accidently or was tricked into it, she still screwed up out of ehr own free will.

Oooh and that one traitor Misty Flys, want to hear how she reacts, she helped that monster willingly!

Lets see snake was an traitor soldier, Hoofer was a traitor spy, Lord Zedd is a traitor politician if I'm reading this right. Hrmmm....can't think of any political opponent so he/she must somehow be going after pegasai and planning to use Aten's treachery to his/her advantage.

Wait Buck Withers father was some sort of Senator wasn't he? Buck was tempted by enemy agents in Buck Nothing...is that related?

The only part you've got right is that "Lord Zedd" (that's a codename like Agent Snake) is a relative of another character. You'll see who he is next week or two. :raritywink:

Poor Rainbow Dash there are always consequences for your actions. I cn see her not believing it but as Twilight says they aren't complete innocents and going to the Wonderbolt academy with that idea will only lead to disappointment

Well, that point is mostly meant to link to a couple of the Wonderbolt-centric episodes in the show proper - Season 3's Wonderbolts Academy, Season 4's Rainbow Falls and Season 5's Rarity investigates. The first two episodes were the result of Spitfire being a crappy leader (or at least not thinking things through properly in her decision making), and the third shows that the problems don't really stop with her (Wind Rider being a "living legend" in his time and yet stooping to very dirty actions against Rainbow Dash - makes one wonder if he pulled this kind of stunt in the past and it was "covered up" or would've done it again if he had gotten away with it that time).

I suspect there's a fair amount of individual faults and dysfunctional behavior in the ranks of the Wonderbolts just under that professional cover, so Rainbow's wide-eyed idealism was bound to be shattered sooner or later. What happened to them in Operation Whirlwind - where those faults were being deliberately exploited for destructive ends - ought to have been an early warning, but Rainbow put herself in blind denial and didn't heed it.

Well no surprise there Blueblood suffers from the same foibles as Spitfire

Changlings great.............

Yep, this was the real "First Contact" between the Changeling race and the Equestrian kingdom. Problem was, the two "agents" were already deeply embedded at this point, and their machinations ensured no one knew what was really going on until it was too late...

So this si before the wedding?

8680212
Yes, before the wedding. (Canterlot Chronicles all takes place in the time of the show's Season 1 so far.)
Basically:
* Two Changeling agents have been "deeply embedded" in Equestria as part of a mission given to them by Chrysalis - searching for food sources - since before Luna's return. One has been quiet in the background so far (similar to the idea of vdrake77's The Changeling of the Guard), while the other contacted and joined forces with the Agents of Chaos because they had a use for his talents and he believed that the Agents could help the Changelings infiltrate Equestrian society more deeply.
* The failure of Operation Whirlwind has opened an opportunity for the "deep embeds" to escape and contact Chrysalis again, in this case by bailing Aten out of his death sentence and carrying him out of the city to join up with the other rebels in the southwest.
* After the two deep embeds contact Chrysalis, she begins sending out more and more disguised Changelings (over the course of Season 2 timeline wise) to open a way for her to get in herself. By the time she's in there, it's too late to stop her plan from being executed (which culminates in what's seen in the Canterlot Wedding).
