The journey's plenty enjoyable, even if the pace feels slower than you'd hoped.
I learn more about about the situation and the characters with each chapter, and it's not the sort of "did you know my favorite color is orange?" stuff that just fills space.
My understanding is growing as the story progresses, and the characters themselves develop as their own understanding grows (Ian now understands that he cannot just run away to avoid killing hostile ponies, not without dooming one of his friends).
I think each chapter's been a solid read, and I prefer that quality over risking something rushed and unsatisfying.
Thank you for sharing your story. I look forward to the next chapter.

Thank you for your encouraging words. I'll keep pressing forward exactly as fast as feels 'natural'.
Thats a big mountain with a really rough road. Theres only three ways down. the pegasi wont lift and Newton is the big apple, so its door number three please Morty.
Well, accepting her is a very easy choice. It's not like she wants something in return, now does she? At least not for now.
Also killing ponies without any reprecussions, moral or otherwise - eh, not a bad score. Certainly not in this time and place. I would definitely not pass up the opportunity, in this universe they don't seem to be too incredibly op. Assuming he can counter the unicorn control this will be glorious, although if not, the melee isn't an option anyway.
Well, Ian is developing some good camaraderie with his travelling pals with each chapter. He's also steadily being disabused of the notion of seeing ponies as cute cuddly pets and instead is seeing them as cute cuddly sapient beings with their own needs and wants and agency. So there's progress. Just so long as he doesn't lose any of them to there and back, which would be devastating.
