Hmmm... so the first lot of villains start acting. I wonder how they would fit in this story. I mean, this story is supposed to center around our naughty parasite after all.
...and that's why you need to learn to safely knock people out. I realise the super strength wws probably intended for constructive ends, but...
Now, 'tis a fact that psionic and most magical forms of mind control end with the caster's death. However, emotive effects such as this are passive in nature once the conditioning is complete. Therefore, disabling or killing the sirens will not free their victims, 'twill in fact likely traumatize them and/or push them to attempt vengeance regardless of any threat to themselves.
For Twilight
I would point out that
1) This is apparently irrevocable
2) You don't know how long the parasite lives or what happens to the host when it dies.
I'd wait
Jesus. The sirens sure turned this story a shade darker! Oh, how I would love for AJ to just go Hercules strong and pop their heads like grapes...
Seriously, fuck those two!

However, one of the three has their magic back as well, and is not on team evil. They could either override or magical therapy the emotive bits out of them over time. We even have non-magical hypnotism at our disposal now!
Nice work
And if she just punched out Adagio...
Well, that's the thing, isn't it? Applejack can't be sure that the kids won't still try to break their own fingers. It's not like they tried the direct approach at the Battle of the Bands. She's never had to pay that kind of cost to win before, and her morals are too strong to even consider doing so. But as far as Adagio's concerned, nothing of value would be lost.
Of course, her friends are going to want to know where she is at some point. And there's always the possibility of malicious compliance, though AJ isn't so devious as to adhere only the letter of her word rather than the spirit. Still, she knows that getting the sirens angry helps, and if friendship with Rainbow Dash teaches you anything, it's how to rile someone up. This isn't nearly as over and done with as Adagio thinks.
