This story is a sequel to A Nightmare to Remember
After the strangest Nightmare Night she has ever experienced, Starlight is having trouble coming to terms with her new form. Her friends are there to help her every step of the way, but does her hurt run deeper than they can see.
No one really knows what to do, but by working together, they should be able to make the best of this situation, and get their friend back.

This was a welcome return to this particular scenario and the lingering issues that came with it. Everyone was in character and their actions were believable and expected of them. The part at the end was especially enjoyable and truly heartwarming. Bravo.
Maybe in a following future sequel we could have her interact with Thorax as well? Comparing contrasting their drastic changes in recent times, as well their thoughts and coping of it all.
Leading to a final one with Queen Chrysalis is full intent on revenge upon Starlight. Totally taking adavantage of the situation and playing several tormenting mind games with everyone's personal trust & perceptions of Starlight. Forcing to Starlight fully confront those dreadful parts of herself.
7876568 Yeah, I felt this one needed to be written. It was going to be about everyone adjusting to the new situation but obviously it turned out as more a story about Starlight learning to trust her friends. She's a bit of a control freak, and this situation doesn't really see her in control. I dunno, that's where my brain went. Becoming fundamentally different is not going to be easy for anyone, especially for a loner who's only just returning to friendship and now has to suddenly hurt her new friends whether she likes it or not.
I have a lot of little plans and half ideas don't worry, Rainbow's flying lessons are simply the only fully thought out one. They'll become full ideas eventually. Sunburst and Thorax are two people I want to visit, but Starlight will most likely have to go to them. Which is a whole adventure in itself. Chrysalis is someone I'm seriously considering, just not sure what angle I would want to take with her, and the show may do it first. We'll see what happens with her.

Hands I'll give you. That was me being an idiot. Feet I tend to use interchangeably. They're hooves but they are still feet, just as a dog's paws are still feet... sorta. I changed it since there were only two instances anyway.
Living forever would be cool, but if her food supply dries up then she's going to be in a world of trouble. Twilight's a maybe, but the others will eventually die and if their children/grandchildren don't appreciate the immortal vampire, then she'd be in a pickle. Thanks for the comment, have a nice day.

They most certainly are, but for FiM pony "foot" part makes more than half of hind leg's length, so it's a bit weird term
Do you think there could be another one where Sunburst comes to visit or something? Maybe Princess Cadance and Shining Armor, too.
