Rainbow Dash discovers a flier mentioning a competition where fighters from different universes can be found. She informs the rest of the mane 6 about the competition and all of them agree to join it for their own reasons, however not all 6 of them have a good time. The story focuses on Pinkie Pie and her horrible struggles against her friends as well as the other universe's greatest fighters in boxing and wrestling matches. Can she find a way to win? or will she continue to get demolished by her opponent?

7759443 Yes, that's why she struggles so much here. Pinkie Pie's biggest strength is her randomness. Without it, she's really weak despite being an earth pony. Do you remember "Magical Mystery Cure"? She couldn't buck a tree no matter how hard she tried.

Also, Twilight is extremely smart, she would study her opponent before and during the match. Rainbow Dash's speed is downright incredible, like she's arguably the fastest character in the tournament. Yes, her ego is her greatest weakness but her combat experience and speed really helps her in the tournament. Applejack's power is insane! She literally destroyed the power scale thing back in "Fall Weather Friends", plus she's pretty fast too. Her weakness is that she doesn't have any range, however in boxing and wrestling, those weakness doesn't exist. Fluttershy is extremely kind, and yes she is actually very similar to Gohan. In fact, as a subplot, this tournament will help unleash Fluttershy's true potential. Fluttershy has a lot of potential and she doesn't even know it. She showed it in "Hurricane Fluttershy", and she even showed it in "Lesson Zero". Fluttershy's speed and strength is hidden and she will develop them here in this fan fiction. Rarity in the comics was already part of a wrestling competition with Cheerilee and she dominated with her. Even in the show, she kicked Applejack really hard in "Return of Harmony Part 2" and even kicked a manticore in the face in "Mare in the Moon part 2". Rarity has a lot of physical strength despite being a unicorn. What does that really leave Pinkie Pie with? Her randomness can not be used at all, her physical strength is extremely poor for an earth pony, and her intelligence can be a huge problem at times. It doesn't take much for the opponent to distract her and catch her off-guard. She still has her speed but let's face it, the opponents here are very fast, strong and powerful as well. The others have an easier time because they are either way more experience than her, and their traits just outclasses Pinkie Pie's traits.
7759536 I knew that Rarity and Cheerilee knew each other for a while, but as far as to join a wrestling tournament? I wonder what else Rarity knows when it comes to martial arts? I kinda forgot about Pinkie being weaker than she looks, since her randomness is always on. I thought turning it off was frowned upon, but I can't believe it worked out!
On a random note, carrying a mountain of bags makes for good strength training after all.
7759554 Yeah, I was surprised too. The person who made the cover art, told me that and even showed me pictures of it as well. Turns out Rarity is actually really strong physically......although her magic takes a huge dive because of it. She doesn't know too many spells and her offensive magic is pretty non-existent. I wouldn't say always. She gets defeated by pretty much any villain easily, and she's is extremely weak to magic. Just a simple levitation spell can stop her in her tracks really easily. Her randomness is always used for comedy and nothing else. Has she even been able to defeat any major villain with it? Has she ever been able to use her "Pinkie Sense" at all when there is a major threat like Discord, Queen Chrysalis, King Sombra, etc? Pinkie Pie's powers are only used for comedic purposes. If her randomness is her greatest strength....then she's going to have a bad time. She never ever uses her randomness in anything outside of comedy. This is why she will struggle horribly here because she has to rely on comedy to be good at combat which still has never come into play. All the others, don't need to rely on anything or anyone but themselves because there are all really strong without any help whatsoever.

7759999 The thing is, that's kind of illegal. Keep in mind, that's essentially Pinkie Pie's powers. None of the fighters can use their powers. After all, it's a simple boxing and wrestling match. I don't recall anyone ever using magic in a boxing or wrestling match before. Even if she was allowed to use it in a boxing and wrestling match, what can she do with it? She has no physical strength, she can't use her party cannon, and she will get outsmarted by every opponent she faces. Pinkie Pie gets distracted really easily at times and as Twilight would know everyone's strength and weaknesses so would everyone else. Everyone knows how to beat Pinkie Pie easily.

7760073 Simple, she doesn't. Well, at the beginning. As she said in the first chapter, she doesn't have any interest to participate in these type of events. As the story goes on, she will start to gain interest. Once that happens, she will not only study on the other fighters, she would actually train to fight physically. The reason why Twilight has little to no physical combat experience is because she has always studied magic and nothing else, which is why she is so weak physically. Twilight already has massive intelligence so memorising the opponent's strengths and weaknesses is easy for her, the problem would be that she may not know how to execute that knowledge. Twilight knows that she has never trained physically and she knows that if she doesn't train physically, she would lose horribly. To summarise it, Twilight will not be in any wrestling and boxing matches until she has trained in an extreme level.

7901181 Well, she injured herself. Pinkie Pie does tend to be careless at times, she was so excited that she ended up making a mistake when celebrating. So this injury will not improve Pinkie Pie at all, however this will make the main 6 curious about a character from the other universe which is the two-tailed fox that helped her. In a way, it's just a way to further the plot while showing how rough her journey is going to be. With that being said, Pinkie Pie will not get injured by random things that often, just once in a while. Every other time is from her fights.
