"Silvers heart" should be "Silver's heart"
"wasn't about to screw it up" is repeated two sentences in a row.
"that house your building" should be "that house you're building"
"surprised a grin" should be "suppressed a grin"
"followed suite" should be "followed suit"
"Silvers place" should be "Silver's place"

This is indeed a cute story. Though I think she may have made some mistakes... Mostly by giving him the impression that she can solve problems with supermagic.
On another note, the rough idea would make for a great "Cadence is a Changeling" fic.
