Celestia is forced to make a decision. She can either break and let her people down. Or she can become the goddess they needed her to be. She loves her ponies, so she makes a sacrifice. She is Princess Celestia Sol Equestrias, the Alabaster Mountain, the Ivory Mercy, the Unconquerable Sun. She is everything they need her to be and more.

She is also so very, very tired.

Great story, not what I was expecting, judging by the title, (I thought it was going to be about Celestias love for cake) but I enjoyed it even more when I found it was a story about the two becoming one. I always thought it was a very tragic story, that Tia would be beating herself up. Maybe she has a Tantabus of her own?

Being born an alicorn herself, Cadence quickly saw through the load of fertilizer she projected trying to be perfect.

Just wanted to point this out. I don't know if I read it wrong, or if you didn't know, but Cadence earned her horn the same way Twilight earned her wings. She was a born pegasus, not an alicorn. There's a book about it, I think it's called Princess Cadence and the Crystal Heart Spell or something.

Keep it up, excited to read your other works.

7691934 I am aware of the fact that Cadence started out as a Pegasus in canon, but I felt it would fit more for her to be born an alicorn here. If she had "ascended" it would sound even more "godly" and she wouldn't know how fake Celestia's act is. I hope this clears that up. Thank you for commenting!
