Well this story just became unfathomably depressing. I think this story warrants a "SAD" tag.
Building off what I said before about how AB is taking this far too well, I think that in all honesty Coral's reaction is a more appropriate one, say all you want about how your heart and head make you who you are the physical limits of your body still apply and can drastically change your worldview and personality. Someone born a paraplegic will have that affect who they are no matter what their heart and mind say and to try and discount any disability in favor of "heart and mind" just feels a but wrong to me.
But yeah, I feel very sad now that the aftermath has come to pass: the loss of the library fund, AB being crippled for life and Coral's depression that no doubt he is suppressing possibly because he knows he'll just get the "heart and mind" speech again even if his concerns are completely valid. AB being made into livestock for her family, debate all you want about how she's still family her role in the family has been reduced from "full helping family member" to "milk factory" now that she can't move around on her own or even go back inside in own house and will probably be living in the barn the rest of her life, like a cow.
I don't know if I want to keep reading this, I'll stay on for one more chapter but if the author's notes are to be believed it will likely be the final nail in the coffin for my interest in this story.
That being said, this has caused me to think hard about how I will portray characters in my own writing going forwards so at least I can take something away from this. Good luck.
8132163 Not to be a downer on this story, but I kinda agree with him. This story has suddenly took a depressing turn.
And as per usual, Applejack is portrayed as the sorta antagonist. I mean, out of all the Mane Six that has ever been put in the negative light, AJ always seem to be the one that is put in it the most by stories. I figure it has to do with the fact that she is supposed to be the super stubborn, 'stuck in her ways' cowgirl, and the sad part is, I saw this coming when I read that Coral was going to be a farmhand.
And I am a bit iffy myself on what has become of Applebloom. I mean, I'm all for big boobs, but even I feel that if her boobs are as big as they are, then it's a bit much. I mean, this story brings to mind a Literotica story I read once, where a woman had growing breasts and found a man, and eventually, she would become a livestock. While it's clear that this might not be the case in this story... you have to admit, Applebloom won't be able to do much anymore.
However, I will try and stick by it, see how this pans out in the end, but somehow, your author notes comment about things not being smooth sailing doesn't instill hope in me.
8132248 I agree about AJ, and it's an unfortunate thing I've seen in a lot of fanfiction. If you want a fetishy story with growing breasts where AJ isn't the antagonist and actually tries to adjust look up The Drinks Are On Us
I am sorry that you feel that way. Since my original ideas include both Apple Bloom and Coral eventually becoming hyper beyond proportions, it is inevitable that Muffins will incorporate such sizes into the story. Perhaps more accurate tagging should've been included.
As far as my vision goes, what I can tell you is that Apple Bloom and Coral are not permanently immobile and will invent with creative methods to carry out chores on the farm and live normal lives. They can go on crusaders with the CMC as they normally do. AB & Coral are not fixed to a single size and can vary greatly depending on the circumstances. They exhibit partial control over themselves primarily through milking, so hopefully that will alleviate some you concerns.
They are not livestocks either but rather hold the occupations of milkmare/stud. It's not like they will stay in the barn 24/7 producing milk and cream although it's a major part of their lives. Their labour do help keep the farm operating much to AJ's appreciation. AJ isn't an antagonist initially in my vision, but Muffins needed to take liberties to tell a story. You can't have a good romance without some tension :p
I know the story is not for everyone for sure, and it's all right if you have no interest in it.
OMG I got a shout out! :D Thank you! And you're welcome, I suppose :) I wouldn't want you to quit your writing or at least delay it long enough that I forget about it. That's happened with a few stories I've been following, yours is just such a refreshing story. It's not only addearing to my fetish but also to my keeness for storytelling. It's a great story that I actually want to read and not just skip to the pleasuring parts X3 Keep it up! :D
8133569 Yeah, I can definitely understand Applejack's frustration. The festival was ruined and she had to make it up to all the guest by paying them off with almost all the funds they accumulated, which means, no new library. So all that hard work they put in the last couple of days for this generous cause to Ponyville was all for naught.
Is it odd that I want to see the Apples meet the Leafs?
Oh, those two got no idea how much bigger they're going to get, do they?

8132114 I take it you're not familiar with the art that inspired this fic then.
