Just here for the ride. Mr. Bones' wild, never-ending ride, that is. There's cookies and punch by the door. :)

Twilight is determined to feel the effects of the elusive Acacia Kick firsthand, but just how can she simulate kicking herself?

It's not exactly scientific. Especially for Twilight. I imagine she would have or build a device that could measure the pressure of impact from a kick, then either have something to simulate the impact, or have others test to see who has the closest approximation to her own. It would be more accurate and less painful for Spike. Especially since even if he was resilient enough to sustain no serious injuries or trauma, the repeated pain would cause Spike's bodies to release endorphins, causing later kicks to hurt less despite being of equal impact.

7319304 Good points! I don't think she would have built a machine though because, as she stated, the library was already terribly behind schedule, so time efficiency was key. I didn't consider how endorphins would have played in, either, so no, it's not the most scientific experiment ever. The whole point of kicking Spike was to have a comically OoC and ridiculous scenario, which is another advantage to her not building a machine. All in all I was just wondering what the most funny way for this story to turn out would be, and for me that was Spike being once again put in harm's way in the name of science. Thanks for reading!
