No. The reason for her being a babysitter is because it is suppose to be canon, and it was a decent segway to connect her to Thunderlane. I morally disagree with foalcon, and I don't plan on writing characters that are underage.

Not bad, not bad at all for a first try. The only problems I saw were a few cases of missing words. The Grammar itself was very well done, pacing was alright, and you didn't use repetitive adjectives.
