Epilogue

[EPILOGUE]

Frozen couldn't drown. What was stopping Kurt?

The description of the book did the bottom of the ocean no justice. It was an abyss of dullness. There was no sound anywhere. Only the deep booms he could barely hear with his relatively tiny ears.

His body got used to the tough pressure of the water. His eyes adjusted to the point where everything seemed rather green, like the image from night vision goggles. That's just what immortals can do, although his lungs still burn from the salt water flowing inside. However, the pain subsided many hours ago.

Unlike Frozen, the burgundy one was stepping slowly through the ocean for a reason. That reason spoke to him on the second day underwater.

"Welcome," came the voice of one that was capable of speaking underwater.

Sea Ponies, Kurt thought. He turned to see the ones armed with tridents.

"We remember a legend of one pony who couldn't drown, who tried to discover Equilibrium. We miss Equilibrium."

Kurt wrote down into the sand, How can I restore Equilibrium?

"Discord... and Harmony," the sea ponies replied.

Anything specific? The immortal wrote.

"Equestria must End."

AUTHOR'S NOTE: You know, I get the feeling that this isn't the best I can do. I can't quite put my finger on it, but this story seems very weak-sauce dude. Truly, not as excellent as I had it in my head.

Bogus...

But wait, there's this Equestria must End business... maybe that could lead into something epic!

... Excellent!!!

Okay, I just read the whole thing in a sitting. What a cool story! I loved your OCs, and the mythology you build with Equilibrium and Galaxia is great stuff. The only thing that annoyed me...what happened to Trixie?! Even if she was just along for the ride, she was a great character (loved how you wrote her, with all that regret and pride and boredom)...and then she just vanishes from the story in its final act!:twilightangry2: *Sigh* Oh, well. But I did love the adventure and the characters. Thumbs up from me.

You have to admit it is a good story. I read it in one sitting to. But, we do need to know what happens to Trixi. Her ego would not let her be just a small time bit write on :)

:pinkiegasp: That.... Is a lot of words. Looks really good, but keep in mind submitting everything at once at like this can intimidate possible readers, such as myself.

Though I am saving this for later.

840972 I release them all at once because I never like releasing each chapter as I go. In the event that I come up with something awesome by the time I get to Chapter 10, for instance, I would look over the rest and realise that not everything is set to match appropriately... Oh, and I find episodic released to be a bit of a back-handed way to try to build up hype. I prefer building hype with what's written instead of what wasn't written yet.

848671 Yes, this is a problem. If I'm in the right to suggest it, and this is in no way intended to be rude, I suggest drafting everything out and then releasing each chapter after edits are done. Again, just a friendly suggestion. :scootangel:

948202 I personally don't buy the so-called arguments against human-sounding names. I mean, they have English and French as languages. Also, in the perspective of ponies, they're still "people". The term doesn't exclusively apply to humans, eh?

949463 I guess that makes sense. 'People' can mean any citizen of a country, but the primary definition is a 'Collective of human beings'. Still, as stated, it does not detract from the story. It was just a personal observation.

668834 Yeah, I was wondering that too. Whatever happened to her?

951613 She was kidnapped by ninjas and trained in the art of stealth and assassination... said ninjas are of a completely different camp.

Later, she would combine her magical prowess and ninja-isms to conquer the world, up until she took on the deadliest tomb in history and was ultimately killed by the most impossible-to-dodge trap in all existence.

She led a grand life.

958267 Haha! Poor Trixie.
