Trapped forever in the pages of a storybook.

Okay first let me get the 'bad' thing out of the way. You seem to have placed a period instead of a comma at a few places but a quick reread would get it fixed. Everything else was pretty much as perfect as it can get. Before I even started reading this I already found two things that I really loved. First the name of the chapter. Lullaby for a princess is one of my all time favorite brony songs ever written and just using a quote already made me loved it. Second the premise. How awesome was it to have Celestia face the sins of the past as well as battle her own inner demons. It was quite a refreshing take on the character and it made me love this story. Luna and Celestia have this amazing sibling dynamic that I find fascinating and you have explored it rather well. Aside from that I love this on a bit of a personal note. You mentioned Tia built a room for Luna awaiting her return and I had a similar scene (only mine was in the old castle) which really hit close at home for me. Another thing I truly liked was that you actually explored how Celestia was perceived by the nation after Luna's banishment. All in all I loved it on a personal as well as a technical level!

Thank you for your comment! I greatly, greatly appreciate it. I didn't think the story would amount to much. I had it sitting unpublished for a while and decided to get around to it in my free time. Luna is explored alot but not Celestia in part of the fandom when it comes to her banishment. Celestia is practically a mary sue in terms of the show. If Celestia was young (we're talking pink mane here) when she was crowned ruler I wouldn't be surprised if she was more or less consumed with royal duties more than her time spent with her sister and the fact that she greatly appreciated the attention given to herself. I know if I was ruler my ego would have a massive spike.

6186379 You are very welcomed! I have an obsession with the royals so I can see small bits and pieces of her sorrow seeping in at times. Celestia to me is a lot more tortured than she would let on and she always hides her pain in service of the people. It is an aspect I intend to explore further on in my headcannon so I am glad that somebody beat me to it lol. P.s. Have you listened to 'Alone (Celestia)' by Survivors of the siege? It's one of my personal favorites. Anyway I am very interested in what else you have so send me more of your stories if you'd like
