Chapter 7

The next day Lyra found herself with Discord to try out the weird machine thing. It was, odd to say the least, being in a room with a guy she barely knew and didn't trust one bit. She gazed warily at the draconiquis (sorry if I spelled it wrong) and lied down on the table.

The doctor's injected something into her system and Discord started to work his weird magic. She heard a whirring sound, making the unicorn uncomfortable. She felt a surge of power run through her veins, and another sensation she couldn't recall.

Crap, this is scary! She thought.

Once the whirring stopped Dr.Stable took some blood and ran off. This time they were more hopeful. A nurse escorted Lyra back to her room, and of course people were waiting on her.

"Hey Lyra," Bonbon greeted her friend.

"Bonbon! HI!" Lyra welcomed.

It was soon a group hug since Vinyl, Octavia, and Derpy, were there too. They chatted, and laughed, and enjoyed each other's company. Dr.Stable cam back after about two hours with....

RESULTS!

And Twilicorn.

"Hi, Lyra, it's good to see you," Twilight told her.

"Hi Twi, he rhyme!" Lyra mused.

ENDING 1

"Lyra, I am terribly sorry, but it is impossible to scientifically extend a pony's life time," Dr.Stable informed downcast.

"Oh, so you're saying that I spent the last three weeks here for nothing." Lyra's face was twisted with anger. Hey eyes wide and bloodshot with a twitching bottom eyelid.

"Lyra......?" Bonbon asked cautiously.

Lyra turned into a raging storm, crashing and destroying everything. Twilight used her magic to sedate the wild horse and Bonbon and Derpy ended up carrying Lyra back to her house and lived happily ever after, I guess. Sure we'll go with that.

ENDING 2

"Lyra it worked you will now live forever, and never die! I'M A GENIUS!!!!" the stallion shouted happily.

After that Lyra turned into the most famous pony around Equestria, and became quite rich too. The procedure was something expensive, not cheap! Bonbon and Lyra lived happily together for eternity as sisters.

ENDING 3

"This was a waste of time and money Ms.Heartstrings, it was a fail, I am very sorry for the inconvenience," Dr.Stable told her.

"Oh well, all is well that ends well I guess," Lyra shrugged. "BUT!!!!" Lyra used her magic to lift the book to Princess Twilight Sparkle. The alicorn understood and signed it for the mare. "YAY!!"

The friends left to get ice-cream, and lived happily for about a week. 'Cause it's Equestria we're talking about here. You can only be peaceful for so long.

THE END.

Author's Note:

Do you have any idea how hard it is to write with stinking writer's block?!?!?! NEVER AGAIN. I hope you like the three way ending story. Thank you very much for reading and I hope you have a wonderful day!

im sorry, but setting aside the spelling and grammar errors...this story really isnt much of a story. theres no real plot, no conflict, nothing to really make the reader care about whats happening. id put about 75% of this as needless filler fluff at least, not serious writing. Lyra and Bonbon go through no character development, they come out the same at the other end as they started, there r elements of what might have become a good plot but were never used, u pulled in the Doctor seemingly for nothing more than shits and giggles without actually having him contribute to the story...honestly, theres so much wrong with this it would be easier to list what u got right rather than point out errors...and thats if im being kind!

i would take another look at this and other long running stories on this site, such as Past Sins or Fallout: Equestria, look at what makes a good story like that last, look at y they have the kind of following they do...learn and improve from what u learn. writing, is a craft, and as writers we r charged with giving our readers an interesting world to look at. we r artists who paint without colours, weave without cloth, sculpt without stone...words r our ink, our thread, our marble. the mind is our canvas, and where our art is displayed. this story...it is a childs scribble, hung on the fridge with ducky magnets by doting parents and called art, yet hidden away after the child is grown, replaced by greater accomplishments.

6321478 Yes I know this story isn't one of my best, and I'm going to be honest with you. I got bored. I really started to hate where I was going with this, I wanted to do something to make it better... and I was really close too, then writer's block struck. You can kind guess from there why this story died. I am sorry for the horribleness of my shitty writing.

6321621 hmmmn, a sadly common occurrence...stories lose focus, or simply arnt interesting for the writer anymore...and writers block can be the worst, i know...yet, there is hope in the passage of time, new ideas come to light, the Muse, fickle in her moods, speaks again after a long silence. it happens, much more often than one might think. i do not look down on u for this, but...perhaps in time...this can be reworked and made better? who is to say what lies in the passing of Time?
