Quickfire...if he disappeared into the Everfree, I can think of two things. one, he is the so called Pony of Shadows, or at least took that on so ponies would leave him alone. two, the mare he liked was Zecora, and the reason he "disappeared" is because he knew that his father wouldn't understand. he may have had his father's views, but love has a way of changing one's views.
5520390 Castrating's too good for him. First he'll spend a year in the incinerator. Year two: Cryogenic refrigeration wing. Then TEN years in the chamber I built where all the robots scream at you. THEN I'll kill him.
They took her to a doctor and after several tests they confirmed that yes, Scootaloo would never be able to live in the clouds with the other Pegasus. Her father had been devastated. Not for her, but for himself. He considered Pegasus and Cloudsdale the peak of society and shunned unicorns and land ponies. He thought they were below him and hated anything to do with them. Any pony that couldn't fly wasn't a pony worth talking to was his motto and he held fast to it.
I think the issue with this chapter is, stuff like shouldn't just be told to the reader. It could have come out from Scootaloo's mouth to Mason as time went on and then we would have learned about it in a more natural way. I'm wondering if it's just gonna come out again since Mason doesn't know any of this, essentially. Would make chapters seem fairly fluffy...
Chapter 9 is up. It's a bit short, but it felt like the right place to end.
I hope masson kicks scoot's father's ass
5407184 I second this, let the rage of humanity course through his veins and strike down those that would harm the ones he loves!
...um, if that's ok?
5407549
Yeah, I think that should be changed to "Thank Celestia" or "Thank Faust".
5407866
Haha... yeah. Changed that to Goodness.
Good job! Your one of the few writers who make really good and deep foalcon stories. Keep going!

Scoot's... Father... needs immediate Castration.
5520390 Or a long walk off a short cliff.
5600312 short walk off tall cliff
5520390 Nahh, just skin him alive. followed by taring and a beheading.
5520390 He deserves to be locked in a room with RED Pyro!
5520390 Why is it that no one suggests waterboarding in these kind of things? It lasts sooooo much longer, and it's soooooo much more fun!!
Ah racism... How everyone that feels you should be purged in cleansing fire.

I loved most of it it was a awesome read .Scoots dad needs to get a dubble drop kick to his face and his wings cliped.

Scoots' fathers needs to be rko'd, then thrown off of a building whilst being waterboarded, I don't know how, but it must happen
It's nice to see I'm not the only one that wants to cut his wings off and watch him flop around on the ground and bleed.
5445423 Bonus points to you, I never even thought of that idea.
#racist

I'm pretty sure Quickfire is going to important to the story in a way.
It’s so weird re-reading this now that Scoots’s parents were revealed, and weren’t assholes in this manner
This version of her parents are quite direct compared to the overt neglect revealed by the show. Both versions aren’t very good parents.
