First story I have written in a long time. Celestia has been studying warp travel and extraequestrial life. She commissions the mane six for command of her starship, the E.S.S. Everfree. They get into all sorts of trouble, meet new species, and boldly go where no pony has gone before. Warning, it may get a little dark at somepoints.

Oh Celestia, school. An author's worst nightmare. I was going to suggest using an image of the
NX-01 Enterprise, but the ship in the story has three nacelles. Come to think of it, the only triple nacelle starship I've seen is the Dreadnought class ship in the game Star Trek Tactical Assault...

which show was the idea from? cause it sounds like "enterprise"
It's roughly based off of the original series, the 2001 prequel "Star Trek: Enterprise", the newest star trek movie, and "Star Trek: Voyager"
It's more based off of the generic principal of all Star Trek variations. Find new life, fight bad guys, dammit twilight I'm a doctor, not a __________. Stuff like that.
And I would draw the ship, if I could draw. I'll have a friend do it.
Also, the NX-01 is my favorite ship

Yeah, NX class has a sturdy shape, but I prefer the Galaxy class. Also, the NX is a variant of the Akira class. Look it up, and they look shockingly similar.

Seriously. Equestria, which still appears to use steam engines in their trains, suddenly gets warp technology? Warp FIVE technology?
Applejack is head engineer when she has little to no background in mechanical engineering? Ditto with Rarity and comms?
And who in thier right mind would give PINKIE PIE any kind of weapon?
I'm sorry, but there's suspending your disbelief, and there's throwing up your hands and shouting "What am I looking at?!"
And the entire thing is delivered so poorly and with such little exposition, that there is NO chance of that question being answered.

well, the griffons are natural klingons... and dragons sure are abrasive... maybe make the dragons both vulcans and romulans? spike's likea vulcan, and romulans are like practically every other dragon on equis.
That's not a bad idea, or zebras could be vulcans. They seem smart and logical, but aren't quite scientific enough. It's hard to say... I'll figure something out!
