Finally. This has been sitting in my to-read queue for weeks, and it was worth the wait.

Basically, you're doing what very few other stories submitted to the TCB group in the last couple of months have really done: Set the scene. It's not perfect, of course. Some of those speeches and exposition got a little wordy. But on the whole, you've said "Here's a new world" and told us all about it.

You've given the whole shebang a good incentive to get rolling, and a reason for Project Poni to exist. And most importantly, I suppose, everyone is making reasonable decisions that I can understand the logic behind, and they're not going "Hurr agenda" like so many other stories I've seen.

It's always good to see fresh content, especially from an author I don't know, because it means I can't guess how you're going to handle things in the story. I eagerly await the next chapter.
