Skylar and Rainbow Dash arrive in Cloudsdale, with the intention of staying there for a few days. But when Rainbow, who is extremely popular due to her Sonic Rainboom that occured during her last visit, sees that Skylar is extremely unpopular due to her lack of cutie mark and knowledge of flying, she is caught in between. Now the Element of Loyalty has to choose between standing up for her roommate, and being the most liked pegasus in Cloudsdale - maybe even the world - and even an invitation from the Wonderblots themselves!

This is the best chapter yet! The character of Skylar really speaks to me; I can see you've put a lot of depth into this character, and I love the subtle tension between her and RD. The way she is torn between old and new friends as well as her obvious lack of self-assuredness really comes across in a subtle but incredibly powerful way, and the betrayal of Rainbow Dash at the end is just heartbreaking. I'm not afraid to say that I shed a tear.
I think that this key point of the chapter, as well as being an accurate representation of what lack of tea feels like, also acts a powerful and resounding metaphor for change and how we respond to it; to we accept it and move on, choose another drink as Skylar did? Or do we fight against it. Bravo, Basmati, this is clearly a masterpiece.
The points you made about tea also got my heart racing - being transformed into an animated pony and learning to fly, I could deal with, but WEEKS WITHOUT TEA?
