All right, I'm sorry I haven't posted before now, but I've pretty much spent all day today finding as many ponies to change back as possible. My report: We're running out of room, haha!
There have been a few fights, though. I think in all we lost around 5 earth ponies, 3 Pegasi, and 3 Unicorns. Some of the ponies didn't want to be changed back and other times there would be some castle guards wandering the street. These are our first casualties in the whole game, I think. And remember the ponies aren't dead. They literally vanished and supposedly are in limbo for the remainder of the game.
But the good news is, about a third of the unicorns have already mastered the spell (I'm getting there), so we've covered a lot of ground. As of right now, I'd estimate our numbers to be (including the prisoners which are also changed):
200 Earth Ponies
100 Unicorns
70 Pegasi
Then there's also the mane six, me (Sarah will not fight as long as I can help it), the Diamond Dogs, etc.
The tunnels go really far, but most of the tunnels run too deep for us to stand the heat. So we need to either make more tunnels or find a second HQ.
Stormcloud currently has... I have no idea. HUNDREDS for sure. Occasionally I see a group of Pegasi fly overhead, but I don't know where they go. Probably just scouts. He also has control of Cloudsdale, Sweet Apple Acres, the castle, the train system, and possibly the Crystal Empire.
That's just a little sums up of where we stand. And a reminder that we win if we reach Stormcloud at the top of the castle (and I'd assume fight him although I don't remember him ever actually saying that). But we can't fight him without the Elements of Harmony, which we need Rainbow Dash to be able to do. RD is currently going through the events of the story "My Little Dashie", I believe. No idea how to get her back here.
I think we should fit as many orders into tonight's post as we can. We certainly have the troops for it, but we need to be extremely cautious at the same time. After all, Stormcloud hasn't made his move yet either.

Hey, guys, we know what's been going on in the Crystal Empire.
So we should form a squad and go save my brother!
Just a minute, Twilight. So, it would seem that that single guard that's been in front of the train station? (Talked about in the comments, but not actually posted in a chapter) Yea, he was the sender of that letter. It would seem he's a changeling who knows the world Stormcloud is trying to make won't help them i the slightest.
But the Crystal Empire is swarming with changelings!

Oh, right. Well, the Crystal Empire is completely unaware of everything that's going on because Stormcloud replaced Cadance and my brother with Changelings!This kind changeling says they won't let anypony leave or enter, but he could get us in if we wanted him to.
So he sent us the letter to let us know he would be waiting at the train station.
Exactly. So tonight, we go in, find my brother, and restore the Crystal Empire to its former glory!

Of course we are, but we need to wait until the right moment and have some sort of plan.
Oh, I have our plan. First we all put on cloaks and pretend to be changelings in disguise, boardng the train to the Crystal Empire and sneaking into the castle. Then, we have a few pegasi make a distraction outside the castle walls, to which the phony Cadance and Shining Armor will go investigate. This will give us the chance to investigate and see where they're holding Cadance and my brother!
Um...
And as a back-up plan, we have the poison joke. We can grind it into a powder and have it sprinkled onto the guards!

A book I once had says that changelings are drawn to love, so if we need them to be far away, we can re-unite AppleJack with Applebloom and be ready to pull them out at the last moment!
Oh yea, we found and cured Applebloom and were going to surprise Applejack tonight.

Actually, I researched that. I didn't realize it, but the first time I tried to contact them without you, it went through without my knowledge. We posted a chapter without even realizing it! So in fact, I believe I should be able to use the spell without your assistance. Of course, your assistance is always welcomed and I would prefer you be present, but you look like you really need a rest right now.

And the train to the Crystal Empire is watched by a single guard. It used to be watched by a bunch of angry ponies, but a few days ago that changed to a single guard. I figured that meant Stormcloud must have been using him as bait, so I didn't say anything. But since it's still that way, I'm not sure what it means anymore.
Hmm. Ok, Stormcloud, if you can read this, do we need to fight you to win this game? You never clarified that.

3430527 Sorry I was away for a time. Ok lets see, we need more room, for our troops. Would it be possible for the Diamond Dogs to create a tunnel to the Caste within the Everfree Forest, the castle of the royal sisters. Second get a paraspipe and change them so that they would eat structures, clouds to be exact, and let them free in cloudsdale near the weather facotory. But be careful the change needs to be temporary or we would have problems later.
Also I would try to send scouts in the direction of the Crystal Empire, but I don´t know how far this is, is this possible for pegasi or do we need a train to get there?

1) You want to disguise yourselfs as changelings?
- Could this kind changeling be a trap to get as to a spot where they can easy pick us up?
- Are we sure that Shinning Armor and Cadance are replaced with changelings, or could it be possible the our enemy is trying to use us as distraction so they can attack?
- The changelings we are speaking about, are they under the control of Crystalisis or is this
another swarm?
- Do you know how good the senses of the changelings are? Are they able to read emotions as we think and could by doing so destroy your disguise?
- Are changelings linked by a hivemind as we think?
2) Use poinson joke as powder:
- How long does the poison joke need to take effect?
3) How good do you know the layout of the castle, do you know where your brother and Cadence could be held?
And please give my regards to Spike from me, I hope he is ok.

I used to play hide-and-seek in there with Cadance when I was a filly, and I always won! Hiding a group of ponies couldn't be that much harder. I know all the possible locations she could be hiding my brother.
1) Yes, I think we could pull it off. It would just take some acting skills.

2) My book on Poison Joke says it can take effect as quickly as an hour, but grinding it into a powder should hasten the effects.

3) Please correct me if I am wrong, but was the Crystel Kingdom not lost due to spell from Sombra? And only returned recently as you found the Crystal Heart? The information we have shows us that you lived as a filly in Canterlot.

3431396 I know what you mean, I can, from time to time, lose myself in a book, may it be a good novel, something to learn about yourself or other cultures. I miss the time as I studied with other people together, so each other could help if someone had a problem or we found better ways to reach the goal of a complex task. To find someone you can study with nowadays is not that easy I fear.
Oh no, what happened over there? As far as I can guess a changeling come within our base and disguised themselves as Twilight and took Pinkie and Appelbloom with them. But when Pinkie sees that is a deception she should be able to get away with Applebloom. We can only hope. Was the Changeling maybe Sapphire? Was he in our base?

I want you to take with you 5 unicorns and 5 earth ponies. Group of 11 is a medium size task force. In the same time outside a CE will waiting 25 Pegasus and 2 unicorns (for communication), as your rescue team. When you rescue Krystal King and Queen (codenames for Cadence and Shining), you will inform rescue team and meet them in 3 LZ points. 1 LZ will be on the main plaza when you organized crystal fair. Second LZ is on the balcony in palace and 3 on the roof (when Sombra kept crystal heart). Rescue team will lift you and take outside a CE.

From now when you communicate with rescue team Twilight you are an Equestria One! It is your codename. Rescue team is know as team Bravo. [EDIT] As for Changeling problem I give you simple solution. A test.
Changeling blood is green, ponies red.
Changelings can mimic their body but when something leave their body is no longer mimic.
So In every gourd post in HQ enter a test. Everypony (even gourds) who leave or enter a HQ must cut himself. If he/she will be a pony the blood will be red if changeling green.

I have a few ideas we could add:
1)Use Spikes ability to send letters to locate Shining Armor and Cadence by tracking the magical traces of the letter when send when you are within the castle.
2) Use teleportation on short distances, so it would be more difficult to locate Twilights group
3) Use the poison joke powder that we have to dissolve it into the water supply as distraction ( Orally administered the effect should take place within a short amount of time)
4) Every group should wear a costume, so it would not be possible to identify who is who, for Shining Armor and Cadance we also need some of the same costumes
5) When leaving the castle to get to the LZ the will be other groups with the same costumes that all run in different dirrections, by doing so the enemy will be unable to know which one is right group to follow.
And of course using teleportation at the same time as I mentioned
Now to the current situation, we don´t know exactly what happened but it seems that Pinkie and Apple Bloom where foalnapped by changelings, but we are not sure on this one.
3433206 Well we haven't enough pegasi to create different groups. I send 25 because 13 will be needed to lift Team Alfa and VIPs (Very important pony xD still VIP), maybe they will need more then 13. 12 or less are they protection.
Well we don't need a costume. We have test. When team alfa meet a Crystal King and Queen they cut themselves to show that they are true themselves then King and Queen will do the same. This procedure will be repeat when team Alfa meet Team Bravo in the LZ.
The rest ideas are good.
3433269 The costumes should be used to conceal the identities of the ponies, and the groups that are there are only concisting of earth ponies, the costumes conceil there race, so nobody/nopony knows which race they are. And all are heading to different locations so following Twilight and company is not that easy. What do you mean with "test"?
