A story I started a month ago, asking for help in raising the young pony I found myself raising. Since then, dark beings have arisen, Equestria has been saved, the world has been threatened, and no one knows what will happen next. Usually one chapter a day, and I always welcome advice! I am skeptical, because there are those who lie, but for the sake of Fluttershy, I'll believe you. As for a bed, maybe a Doggie bed? The only other option is to give her your bed. That would show her she can trust you, and then she might warm up to you. Good Luck!

I'm not sure if I really believe this.. I guess I do and don't at the same time, because I like to believe anything is possible.
Can you sing? I'm sure she would like it if you sang for her. And.. tell her that you're glad she's there. Um.. other than that, just do more research. ^^;;

The park might be a good idea, but be careful. If she attracts too much attention, that would be bad. Especially on the off chance someone recognises her. Even more so if they bring up the show. I've no idea what that would do to her. However, if you do take her somewhere somewhat public, try not to make it look like she's under some kind of guarded escort.
She needs some form of the truth, I believe. One way or another, she's going to find out, so it's best not to make it look like you were withholding something for the sake of her trust. I don't know if you should mention the show. The idea that she may be fictional, or something created from a wish could be devastating, but she needs something. Similarly, saying nothing doesn't do well for trust.

3300665 I'm at the park right now, but remember no one else can see her. I'm not sure how it works, but animals can see her and she can still touch objects (so she can probably touch people) but only I can see or hear her. That's what really scared me the most at first. Right now I'm researching less about her and more about how this could be possible. I mean, there's more than one pony, right? So this could have happened before... I guess. Man, I don't know. I'm just going to let her play with the squirrels and try to come up with something to say tonight.
Hmmm.... Try telling her that she's from a Magical land called Equestria. Not so sure about the cartoon part... try to break that to her slowly, so she doesn't panic. I'll be following this. Be sure to keep us updated, okay?

Wow. I didn't even think about that. At least, if she isn't, that will probably convince any nonbelievers.
Maybe you could give her something special, like cookies or a mouse.

Maybe you could present the television show as a sort of window to another world. Maybe that would jog her memory. Or you could sneakily buy an action figure of her or another pony and say it was a gift... I don't know Or tell her no one can see her but you and take her out to some not-very-crowded places to show her how your world works...
I'd also suggest watching 'Putting Your Hoof Down." It's an episode where Fluttershy is helped to be more assertive, and you see a lot of her personality.
Where are you watching these episodes? Netflix? TiVo? YouTube?
YouTube might be easiest if that's not already what you're using, because then, no one has to know.
One more thing: Keep in mind that Fluttershy is the bravest character. Bravery is not the absence fear, it is being scared and overcoming it.
Be careful when talking around other people, dude, otherwise you might get a nice new jacket with lots and lots of belts and loops...
Seriously, though, be careful talking around her. She does NOT need you taken away from her at this point in time.
Oh, and one more thing, tell her about the show ASAP. In the story my little dashie, the guy doesn't tell Rainbow about it for years, and then when she found out on her own, she got TICKED OFF. In fluttershy's case, given her personality, I would think if you don't show it to her soon, when she finds out on her own, (because she WILL, mark my words), she will do either this:

This sounds ridiculous, but whenever my grandmother leaves the house, she gives her dogs jobs to do (E.g Theo, you make sure Sammie and Sumo pee outside. Tomo, make sure the house is protected). Maybe you can tell Fluttershy to do something... People (And ponies) feel more important when they feel needed.

I... I am so determined. If this man could raise her little Dashie for 15 years and be so happy with her, then so can I. My story musn't end as their's did. Did this all happen? After seeing the impossible, I'm prone to believe it. I think I'll do one last update, then I am determined to make the most out of tomorrow!
MLD was one of the saddest stories I've ever read... Please don't put off telling her for too long, I can't tell you how many other fics there's been where telling the pony(ies) they're part of a show is put off and the result is never good. Ever.
See if there are any squirrels or something in your yard. Assign Fluttershy to the role of feeding and caring for them. If you have a job/allowance/some other money source, you should be able to keep her well stocked with birdseed (maybe you'll end up with some more of those, too!). As a bonus, even the people who can't see her will see the beautiful birds and cute squirrels in your yard!

Hrm, maybe you should check Youtube or some other site to find what other people recorded of you. You say that others simply cannot see her? I wonder what it looks like on their end. Do you look like you are hugging yourself, or look like you are hugging an "object" that they can't see? Furthermore, you should read multiple fictions (if you have the time) to read up on what mistakes are done with the 'Human In Equestria' inserts now-a-days with the protagonists. Perhaps you will find something useful there, a suggestion that was done in the story/recommended in the comments.

If Nightmare Moon indeed does come to you, then play it off. If she tries anything, attempt to thwart her plans in any way, and try to get the rest of the elements here, considering the fact that you've now watched the show and know what those are.
If it's Princess Luna that arrives, treat her with respect, and do not fear her or cower from her, she doesn't like that sort of thing. If you want to know, to some extent, what a few of her powers are, watch the following episodes: Luna Eclipsed, and Sleepless in Ponyville.

Hmmm... This is very confusing. I don't think you'll meet Nightmare Moon. I'm pretty sure that when on the moon she couldn't communicate with anypony, and Princess Luna can look into ponies dreams. The evidence points to Luna.

Read a fanfic called 'Leather and Lace'. It's really good, and it's about Rarity. It has a kind of vague similarity.
