Nice. Good to see this fic again XD Though, all the way through his walk I was wondering whether he was cuffed or not... I don't remember last chapter either since it's been so long... XD
went instead of when
YAAAASSSSS!!!!!!!
Through his entire walk all I could see was some bitchy nun behind him consistently saying "shame... shame... shame..."
the force is strong with this one's story

I am so glad that this story has returned from the dead.

7231240 a yard is three feet, AKA 90cm. While the difference from a meter is pretty negligible, at longer ranges it becomes an issue. 100 yards is 90 metres, for example.
Digression time!
I just don't get why America doesn't use metric. Here you have metric, where everything is based on nice, square numbers like 1, 10, 100 and so on. Then here you have imperial, where everything is based off fractions and multiplications of increments of 25.4 millimetres, or inches.
25.4 is not a nice, square number. It's a weird one.
Trying to find the right spanner or socket for a 10mm nut, for example.
In Australia/England/hundreds of other places: grab a 10mm spanner.
In America: grab either a three-eighths of an inch spanner or a seven-sixteenths of an inch spanner.
It's needlessly fucking complicated.
I'm not shitting on America for using this system by the way, before any of the 'Must defend 'Murica' keyboard warriors out there start attacking me. I'm just saying that the imperial system is odd, and that metric is much easier to use.

If I remember correctly, it was explained to me that we still use it in case of a future war; it keeps enemies from using our measurements as easily as we use them. Metric is easier than imperial, I'm sure, but it's so ingrained within the U.S. that it would be far more difficult to convert than to stay imperial. A lot of Americans will know both anyways through classes like chemistry and physics, where they tend to lean toward metric quite heavily, so simply having both is advantageous for us.

The eggs are stone, and over a millennium old.

Fixed. And, yes, he is shackled throughout the chapter. He has braces on his arms, but not his legs.
7231113 Well he is King of the Winter Court, just as the Erlking is the King of Summer.
Not finding any good stories on here, so I shall reread one of my favorites!
I can't wait to see chrysalis's face when she finds out kestrel already knows about the thieves guild changlings. Bonus points if he makes any variation of "right, I knew I was forgetting something".
Good chapter, a little short, but you had me on the edge of my seat the entire time!
I'll hold you to that kestral
Please continue.
7227413 Don't forget the Ding Ding
I can't wait for the next chapter, Luna's probably going to be like, "Kestral, what am I going to do with you?"
Awesome story, can't wait for the next chapter.
Welp at least, I'm caught up. Now to wait.
Well, read entire story up on this chapter, looking forward to the next one, hope it won't take too long.
7391869 Yes mate, this isn't anthro.
