From what I read, this story has potential. However, there are some glaring grammar issues that need to be addressed. For example, your entire first paragraph is made up of sentence fragments, i.e. no verb or subject. I'd say, get an editor, and go over this story with a fine-toothed comb. It could be good. Perhaps read this "story".

I leave this comment solely as a response to your group thread; I won't be coming back here myself. I'm rather squeamish when it comes to dark stories. Sorry.
