The human versions of Applejack and Coloratura met at Camp Friendship all those years ago, but unlike their pony conterparts, they remained in touch. Now years later Rara is making it big in Manhattan and has lost almost everything that made her Rara in the first place.
Essentially, Coloratura/Applejack romance as Rara navigates fame after she breaks away from Svengallop. Not exactly a mirror of what we saw in The Mane Attraction, but kind of similar.

Every life has its own tragedies, its own ghosts. Often times, it's the most damaged individuals who heal each other.

"I'm NOT obsessing over some "fictional horse", mmkay?" I said with a hint of annoyance in my voice. "I just, you know, like her. She may have never said a single line in the show, but somehow the fans gave her such a tomboyish, strong, and reckless attitude. That's what makes me like her. What makes you think I'm obsessing!?"

"Alright, alright... I get it. If you're not obsessing, then tell me why are you wearing magenta contacts?"

"My what?"

Basically, I got turned into Vinyl Scratch, well, her human form for now... But what do I do? Sport my very distracting blue hair in public?

Coloratura tells Applejack of a mistake she made int he past after Svengallops true nature is revealed to her. She then tried to make amends with a few old friends and her first mentor when she was introduced to show business with Applejack as moral support.

But a lot of time has passed since then, and Coloratura fears it maybe too late to say sorry.

While in Manehattan, AJ and Rara have a bit of a fling. She never shares this with anyone ever...including her family.

With the help of some "friends of friends", Rara prepares for a new challenge in her life: a theater play. In the meantime though her deepest fears, her worst self-distrusts and her biggest illusions will make her face her worst enemy: herself.

There's been mysterious and strange noises coming from underneath, a terrifying growls throughout the night, scratching against the wooden floor, as it creak from the sound of moment. Scootaloo had seen the monster once or twice, but no pony believes her, well tonight is the night where she proves that there's a monster living under her bed!

Sonic, the Rainbooms and all their friends are very excited when the duet concert of Countess Coloratura and Mina comes to Canterlot. This is good news to all except for a certain Dazzling, Adagio can't help but reminisce of the old days where she had her voice in the power to enthrall anyone and everyone...

However she soon catches the attention of a certain Ixis wizard, who offers her a deal; help him perform a certain spell during the concert, and he'll restore the power she once had...

What happens when Rara learns that one of her closest friend Light Shadow, who was also a famous singer, has died of suicide. Will she be able to step back into the spotlight even with the sadness that affected her.

Note: This is sad story having to deal with suicide and the after effect of it
