A story of a bumbling "hero", an exasperated and very confused changeling drone, and the accidental causing of national incidents.

It's been several months since the Anon-A-Miss incident, but some people aren't so willing to let all that unpleasantness stay in the past. Apple Bloom has been putting up with her sister's anger and coldness ever since she was revealed as the mastermind behind Anon-A-Miss. In an effort to try and escape it, if only for a while, she signs up for a student exchange program and gets accepted.

Upon arriving at her new school in Manehattan, she meets a boy named Tender Taps. A young dancer who needs help coming out of his shell. Once she coaxes him out of it, Tender Taps thanks her by asking her to join him in a dance contest.

Too bad no one told Apple Bloom that this contest was a nationally televised dance competition.

How far will a humble farm girl and her dancing partner get in a contest like this? What sort of antics will come from doing a contest like this? Will more come of their partnership due to competing in a contest like this?

Night after night, it's the same dream. It plays out with the usual scenes, and it ends in the same way: anger, tears, and an assurance 'there was nothing that could have been done'. But she knows better... and she'll have to see it again tomorrow night and have to tell herself those cold promises again.
