I wasn't always Zombie Dice. Oh no, I used to be Twilight Dice. I was a bright-eyed, bushy-tailed, happy mare with big hopes and dreams for the future. However, working for the biggest tourist destination in all of Equestria has turned me as hot, dark and bitter as the black coffee I drink to keep myself alive. The only thing that keeps me going are my thoughts of the trips I'm saving up for while working myself to the bone. Things aren't always as "Magical" as they seem here.

A pony who had a rough childhood, is now taking over Equestria, a pony named Azure Shadow. She had, unique abilities, that made her unstoppable. The time period of this story is before villains (other than Nightmare Moon) had been defeated. This story also combines other fanfictions, of the My Little Pony universe.

Some point out that knowledge of facts gets lost over time. Others say that those who keep records of time and knowledge don't always do a good job in the first place. And a few even go as far as to try and do a job that they claim to be better.

But at the end of the day, the results are always up to interpretation.

Or, in straighter, more concrete terms, this is a collection of various retooled segments of parts of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, Equestria Girls, assorted parts of the various IDW comic series, and other extended media elements, both with the intent of organizing events in a well-kept timeline and, in certain cases, retool parts of the official stories that may either be considered too objectionable in the official take or simply to develop something that happens to fit my personal taste better. Because in a sense, wanting something that canon didn't give us can be said to be the basis of all fanfic.

None of this is meant to convey that I find myself a better writer than any of the show writers in any way, nor am I claiming ownership of the series to any degree. Each official entry, no matter how I retool it, is still part of the official series, and I still respect the work that went into it even as I feel it has mistakes.

Also, if you happen to find an entry here that you liked in its original, official version, please know that my retool of it is not meant to be an attack on your personal opinions or feelings. We all have the right to like what we like, and at the end of the day, I can only say that I hope all who read these entries like them in the end. :)

Note: The chapters as listed are ordered by in-universe chronological order (minus eventual flashbacks for each individual entry) rather than by the order in which I update them. However, unless I am writing specifically interconnected entries, and sometimes even then, each individual entry can, I feel, be read on its own. In some cases it will help to have knowledge of the source material, in others, the readaptation will be extensive enough that the adaptation will look like an independent entry, although full credit to the original source material will be given at least once per a given entry's revamp.

Also, as part of my 'timeline rearrangements' the order certain entries take place in as far as this AU is concerned will not be the order in which they aired or were published.

Small group of students separated from the trip to the sawmill in order to test their own prototype. After getting to the place they were met with unexpected situation resulting in sad consequences.

The Lore of Equestria has always been a very well kept secret despite the brief information we learn about the different villains that persist in trying to take over every season. With the magic that exists in Equestria, magic that seems to come from a variety of sources and is used by just as many, there is still so much that isn’t known. Imagine, if you will, that there was a world where all the questions that somepony could have being answered through the (somewhat haggard) retelling of history? And what if the power of Equestria came from a less far off or metaphorical source? Well, that brings you to an alternate universe where Equestria was once closer to Earth. A world that was simple with ponies still as one of the dominant species, but all of them earth ponies. They didn’t dream too big or even have cutie marks that helped them realize their greater destiny. That is until two stars fell from the sky to escape a far off evil. An evil that would return one day and throw everything into a new world of chaos.

Who better to discover the depths of this than Spike himself?
