This story is a sequel to Someone Had Tae Do It

The City of Whitil, capital of the Whitetailed deer, chooses to select its champion in a traditional tournament, with the winner all but certain.

At the same time, a visionary doe seeks to unearth a strange magic from the past to aid her people, and ends up on a path that defies all expectations.

This is my attempt to write a chapter for NotSoDogNinja's OC, Ash, who has already appeared as an occasional side character in Pom's journey in Someone Had Tae Do it.

I've enjoyed adapting her to this version of Fœnum alongside NotSoDogNinja, and he's assisted as a cowriter in helping develop this version of Ash, Whitil, the whitetailed deer, and the events of the story. He's also the artist behind her design and her splash art here.

The Book of Lore is an old series of articles for the game Them's Fightin' Herds which are considered quasi-canon unless overridden by the story, as some parts have been.

Otherwise they are a good source of lore and character development for the first six characters and their native culture: but there are no entries for Shanty, Stronghoof, Texas, Nidra or Baihe.

This is not a crossover story with MLP.

My name is Fairuz M.G, and I died.

Just like that, in a flash of tires and regret. But instead of fading into nothing, I woke up in a world I knew all too well from my years as a secret brony: Equestria. Now I’m a dragon, not Spike, but somehow his brother, his blood-related brother; and I love him like family, like someone I was always meant to protect. With every beat of my new heart, I can feel something shifting, a chance to change the plot, rewrite fate, and give everyone here the life they deserve. not just the Mane Six, but every soul in this world-ok that's too big for me so maybe in Equestria?

Maybe death wasn’t the end. Maybe it was the start of the life I was meant to live: one where I’m no longer just a fan watching from behind the glass, but a part of the story... helping shape a future brighter than the show ever dared to imagine.

Equus could no longer remain what it once was. The defeat of Nightmare Moon at the hands of Twilight and her friends, through the unleashed might of the Elements of Harmony, had fractured reality itself. That overwhelming surge of energy tore through the fabric of reality, binding multiple worlds together into a single, unstable plane.

Cultures collided, ideologies clashed, and whatever fragile peace once endured crumbled beneath the weight of conflicting paths.

Twilight and her friends now find themselves forced to adapt, just as every ally and adversary they encounter must also reshape themselves within this new order.

Yet amid chaos, one truth endures: their values stand with their own strenght, aided by those that while different, seek to understand and love.

One of them, wishes for a tree of golden leaves.

I stumbled upon the draft of this piece on an old, dusty mobile drive. I had forgotten about it, thought it was lost. Well, now that it's found, I'll edit it and post it.

P.S. I realize that the text contains a lot of Russian cultural references. Unfortunately, it's not always possible to find exact English equivalents, and sometimes it's completely impossible. If anything is unclear—please ask. I'll do my best to answer.
