An unknown, heavily injured Earth pony with a cursed gift has come to Equestria. As big as the princesses themselves and not knowing where this stallion came from, they investigate by having to enter his dream while unconscious. Only to discover that he's not who he appears to be. Leaving tons of questions needed to be answered.
Meanwhile, an unknown force that is creating chaos along its wake within the Evergreen Forest. A force capable of destroying anything and everything living.
Can all of Equestria handle defeating this new force or will they fall and who is the unknown pony in Equestria? Is he friend or foe? Will his curse bring balance to the world or destroy it?

Princess Sunset Shimmer, Prince LockOn and others are from "Sunset Shimmer's Redemption" and "Sunset's Locked-On Love" by 00RaiserGundam

This story takes place about a year after Sunset's story and a few months after the "Winter Bells" incident of the "Past Sins" story line. I chose these story lines because they are well written and they have inspired me to write this story.
So as a sign of respect, I wanted every character from both stories to be included in the story that i'm writing to you all. Of course , I've just asked permission from both. Hope they'll approve.
Other characters, as well as the secondary world have been created off the top of my head. There will be a few cameo references with Magic: The Gathering, Legend of Zelda OoT, and possibly others.

Star is a filly who can't sleep during the night, haunted by her past. Luna is alone, nopony comes out at night. The two ponies meet and and their world will never be the same. This is the story of Luna's life between the defeat of Discord and Nightmare Moons first appearance.

After being banished to a land that is unforgiving and harsh Luna must find a way to survive, long nights, cold days, and animals that lurk in the fog.

This is a crossover with The Long Dark so this may get boring at times.

Well over one thousand years ago, when Luna was still young (for an alicorn) the two royal sisters ruled from the castle atop the hill in the beautiful Everfree Forest. However, all is not right in these picturesque woods. An evil presence is noticed, and neither of the goddess-princesses can figure out where it's coming from. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that they rarely, if at all, interact with the many denizens of their kingdom. Maybe not.

Sorry if you came expecting something really funny, or really dark, or really adventurous and this simply didn't deliver. This is a relatively light hearted narrative about an ancient evil, so I really wasn't sure what to tag it as. Another thing is that I am trying to be as accurate to the possible history of the show as I can. If you notice anything that doesn't mesh with Equestrian history as we know it, leave me a comment. Anyways, this is the first pony story I've ever written, so please tell me what I've done wrong.

What better way to wait for season 4's predicted superhero episode then by reading one about a superhero's origin? Maybe watching t.v. with a cherry-changa in one hoof and a cold Mt. Dew in the other. But sadly, reading about superheros and their past sometimes cant compare to actually watching it. Hmm, alright go watch some of your favorite superhero movies, come back, read whatever this thing is and leave suggestions on who you would like to see in this ultra super duper crossover and maybe the epic multi part fic of their epic-ness. These are the origins of how the mane six and others get powers, fight each other and how the magic of friendship truly links a pony together. All rights and likenesses go to the various universes that these characters are associated with.

Come bat infestations, racial disputes, threats from aggressive Griffon imperialists, and other problems challenging the kingdom's success, Sable stands firm in her faith of her kingdom's rulers.
