Nameless stallion gets his heart torn to pieces before the most love infused day of the year. A soon to be true love is torn apart at the hands of Fate. Fate has a funny way of leaving others in situations where it is hard to walk away from and our stallion friend will soon find out how. What happens leaves him a very empty pony.

After all I’ve put the girls through, I want to show them my gratitude and appreciation for sticking with me through this difficult time in my life. I know I haven’t been the greatest friend, but their friendship is more than I could ask for.

As my streak of no work extends, I guess I could start my visits now. I’ve been able to stay in touch so I’m not visiting during a bad time, though we are at a time in the year right before peak travel, so hopefully I can make my rounds before I get a hire call.

On the longest day of the 1000th year, Nightmare Moon is released from her prison, and 1000 years of pent up rage is unleashed upon Equestria. it's up to the mane 6, joined by a pony out for revenge, to stop Nightmare Moon and her quest for destruction
