This story is a sequel to Nightshade: The Adventure Begins

Nightshade is back, Discord's switch works! But he's not sure what changed, but there's unease in the air. Everything is so familiar but so foreign, can he seamlessly fit back into his old life or does the universe have other plans?

This is the first full length story I had ever legitimately put to paper. It is for my OC Brazen Voice in my freshman year of College as Season 3 of FIM was airing. It is set in distant countries far away from Equestria, but still inhabited by ponies, in a history similar to our own with similar historical events, and briefly including Doctor Whooves. Even a 'Great Changeling War' modeled after WWI that Brazen Voice came from. It may have not aged well, the grammar has mistakes, typos, and unpracticed German, but it is an important stepping stone for me that I had always meant to share with the community. Some of the friends I depict in as their own OC's in this story are no longer on speaking terms with me, But I still keep in close touch with some. I had written a great deal more than this for this character as a sort of artistic outlet while I was in a very rigorous engineering and science school. If readers like this story, I'd gladly post a few more, some of which are much longer. And include a bit more insight to his relation with the Doctor. The Changeling war has been going on for just a few months now, and it has led up to this one point. One pony and One Changeling staring each other down. In front of them are two boxes, capable of wiping out both sides of the enemy, only there's a twist. No one knows what button does what.

Cutie Mark crusaders Inc. is a thriving business, Project P.E.G.A.S.O. is still there, yet Alfonso Rodriguez, the Alicorn of Ponyville doesn't exist.

Puzzled by the incongruities, Diamond Tiara and her team of elite huntresses embark on a quest outside the comfort of the two worlds she knows and dives deep into Creation, her goal: Find out what happened to the Alicorn of Poniville?

Nightshade Valentine is one of Luna's top guards and a close friend of Celestia, he's got an amazing marefriend and a large family estate on the outskirts of Ponyville. Basically, he's living a dream for most ponies. Well, that was until Celestia contacted him to inform him that his time off was to be interrupted by a new task. Become the caretaker for some sheltered prince from Las Pegasus, this was not how he wanted to spend his break. Oh well, all he had to do was keep the prince safe until his coronation.
