Just a blog post to showcase a pair of doodles (one bust and one fullbody) done for free by friendly artists on the MLP Subreddit.
"The character and training, and therefore the expectations, of the Exploratory Service can perhaps be summed up thus: upon wakening to find herself face-to-face with one of the mythologae, her first question was not 'Are you a unicorn?', but rather, 'How come you're purple?'"
"I also persuaded your chickens to clean up their own coop. Really those creatures are quite filthy, I don't know how you stand it."
Fluttershy was almost afraid to ask. "How did you get them to clean up their own coop, Discord?"
"Fingers!" he chortled. "Two plus a thumb on each wingtip. Though I'll have to undo it later, it would be a horror if that musician came by here, saw fingers on the chickens and started pestering me about hands. Again."
"Discord…"
Zecora's dialogue taking longer than expected; too many lines, read aloud, prove they must be rejected. Expect the next chapter this Sunday's eve; and for now, here's something I had up my sleeve!
Lapis had just sat down to eat his dinner when the knock came at his door.
“Just a second,” he called, shoving a spoonful of rainbow chili in his mouth as he stood up and walked to the door. Is it Bon Bon? She doesn’t usually come this way. I wonder if she knows about-
One Day I Found a Multiverse in My Pajamas is nearing completion. It should be out by this weekend at the latest, and hopefully I didn't just shoot myself in the foot. (Edit from the future: Nope, through the queue on Friday afternoon and now live.) However, it turns out that I can't fit in the cut snippet of Oversaturation that inspired this story in the first place. As such, here's a
And we're back with another snippet! This time it's much older, all the way from version 0.5 of the story - back when I tried starting it out from the moment of Lapis' arrival to Equestria, instead of Twilight's arrival to Ponyville. This was the first version of Nikki's entrance to the story, as well as the first mention of Hot Cocoa, the waitress (who I'd forgotten was a unicorn in the first version). Enjoy!
Still sick, haven't written anything I can formally publish, so here's an excerpt from No Escape. This contains spoilers, and it doesn't look like I can block them with the spoiler tag function. Apparently changing paragraphs breaks spoiler tagging.
I'll See You On The Dark Side of the Moon
They will never love you
They will never accept you

This is the opening scene of an unfinished and scrapped chapter, which picks up pretty much exactly where I left off over a year ago. I decided to toss this chapter in favor of a time skip, but see no reason to let the scene go completely to waste.
I've written two 'what-if-they-found-out?' scenes, so far. The other one is with Twilight.
Since Dark Souls Remastered releases tomorrow, and with it my hopes of once more joining folk online in many an epic trial are reignited, I should probably mention a bit about what I've been doing these past few months in regards to my little tribute of gratitude. Trying to build up a buffer of content again (I know, should've been an obvious step seeing as I was doing it when I first started this series. I'm just that stupid.) but hopefully these will whet some appetites.
Twilight was somewhat annoyed by my fascination with her.
"Why am I the subject of so many of your stories?"
I ignored the statement, partially because it annoys her, and partially because I'm too busy sketching out the plan for her next involvement in my plot. Lots of work this is.
"At least tell me why you want to write me in."
Ah, Celestia's Curse. Of all of my Monsterverse stories, that one had proven to be surprisingly popular. Far more than I originally anticipated. I think that was due to me underestimating the popularity of the Celestia/Twilight ship more than anything. Sure, the strange little AU I created where Equestria was replaced with a more Egyptian certainly gave it a more distinct flare, but I believe the Twilestia ship helped more. The ship made it popular, the setting helped me keep it.
It's Christmas in July! For anyone who remembers my older Snippet about an excitable seapony OC, a friend of mine just published a sequel for her. In the first fic, Brine learned the hazards of boat propellers. Certainly she'll be more cautious around this new phenomenon known as "snow", right?
Not likely.
Show Jaded Hearts some love!
"Unity is everything, you must be the same. This is not a bad thing. This makes everyone belong."
Within the crowd Twilight with a changeling mask strapped over her face raised a hoof.
"Do you think that's a good idea?" Fluttershy whispered urgently, though she was similarly disguised.
A while back I held a contest for Snippets, and today, we find out the winners! Remember- this is only the contest. There will be more Snippets in the future besides these. ^-^
Important- IF YOU WON, PM ME IMMEDIATELY. But please know what your prizes are and what place you came in so you aren't mislead.
I had a thought, and I don't know where I'll ever be able to use it, so I'll throw it in a blog:
Twilight and Cadence stood proud, side by side before the diarchs. "We won't let you down," said Twilight. They turned to leave.
"Wait!" They turned back. Celestia took a deep breath. "There's something very important I forgot to tell you."
