Friendship is Card Games: Trixie and the Razzle-Dazzle Ruse

We return to the pony novels this week, and hopefully a better showing from the titular mare. Last time we saw Trixie in one of these, G. M. Berrow was channeling the fandom circa 2011 and making her and Gilda the designated antagonists of the piece. Let’s see what she’s up to this time.

Friendship is Card Games: Kenbucky Roller Derby #2 & #3

We return to the cutthroat world of G5 roller derby, where Sunny’s trying her darndest to prove she’s more than just a casual skater… and has assembled one of the most ragtag teams of misfits this side of the Mighty Ducks in the process. Let’s see how the story’s developed from there.

    Swan Song

No, not mine. The Barcast's. The last call is currently under way, and if you want to hear my part in the grand interview lightning round, you can tune in at 4:20 Eastern/1:20 Pacific (about an hour from this posting.)

Yes, 4:20 on 4/20. No, I do not partake. Sorry to disappoint. :derpytongue2:

    Pest List

Just something I whipped together for fun one day, set to a possibly recognizable tune, all intended in good fun. And hey, given that I derived my Fimfic handle from a misremembered detail of the Mikado, it's only appropriate. :derpytongue2:

Well, An Idea · 8:16pm Oct 29th, 2015

I had a thought, and I don't know where I'll ever be able to use it, so I'll throw it in a blog:

Twilight and Cadence stood proud, side by side before the diarchs. "We won't let you down," said Twilight. They turned to leave.

"Wait!" They turned back. Celestia took a deep breath. "There's something very important I forgot to tell you."

"What?" said Cadence.

"Don't cross your spells."

Twilight tilted her head. "Why?"

"It would be..." Luna took a moment to settle on a word. "Bad."

"I'm fuzzy on the whole good/bad thing," said Cadence. "What do you mean, 'bad'?"

Celestia looked up, brow furrowed. "Try to imagine every pairing you know of starting instantaneously and every pony in Equestria coming together at the speed of light."

Luna shut her eyes. "Total Platonic reversal."

Twilight's mouth worked silently for a few moments. "Right. That's bad. Okay. All right. Important safety tip. Thanks, Princess." The sisters-in-law left the throne room, considerably less stately than before.

"Should we tell them about the tatzlwurm?"

"I won't if you won't."

Is the tatzlwurm in love with somepony?

No, it's just that they both blasted it at the same time at one point. Letting Celestia and Luna know that they risked the ultimate ship probably isn't a good idea.

Bravo I say! That was a fun little blog. :rainbowlaugh:

Now I would like to see it as a full fic...

Full Platonic refersal... Now that was clever. :rainbowlaugh:

Crossing friendship lasers with shipping beams could be very bad indeed. Or at least terribly confusing.

Thanks for sharing this fragment with us, even if you can't find another place for it.

Who ya gonna call? Shipbusters! :derpytongue2:

You're evil. Proceed.

3505619 The Tatzlwurm is now in love with everypony, and slowly burrowing his way towards to Equestria...

Will a giantt marshmellow pony attack Manehatten again? Ah well, tis the season!

All of a sudden half the fandom is sucked towards Luna and Celestia at mach three, and we know who to blame.

Ah, well. At least it's better than how they totally botched the Jem movie.

Okay, this just made my day.

On first reading I thought it was the diarchs that did Discord-knows-what to the tatzlwurm. This bent my brain somewhat.

I know the feeling. I recently came up with a line I really want to use, but have no idea where. "Sentience, s/he decided, was quite strange and definitely overrated."
