Although it left it, it knew that it was right, it made it down, because it didn't know what's up.

    You were the Chosen One!

    Alas, it was not so.

So as many of you may have surmised, I have violently but silently passed away.

That is to say I am dead.

Not in the literal sense, but possibly in the literary sense.

To make things short, I had a bit of a breakdown, a couple of other mundane life-things and a lack of time to even consider writing.

    Microstory X - Awkward Twilight

    It happened at a bookstore.

    "Hello," said the clerk.

    "Morning," Twilight mumbled back.

The clerk returned a strained smile back and then went back to work.

Twilight then realised in her half-tired state that it wasn't morning, it was the evening, the store was closed and it wasn't a bookstore, and the clerk wasn't there and she had been talking to a cardboard sign all this time.

    Microstory IX - The Existence

Before Twilight could say anything, Pinkie held up her hoof.

"Twilight, stop, before you say anything. I have to say something!"

    Silence followed.

"What were you going to say?"

    "...I forgot."

"Pinkie... what are you doing on my doorstep?"

"Twilight, you have to help me with my application!"

"What's this?" She held the documents up. "These look like job... rejections?"

Micro Story VIII - The Rock

It started with a slight clicking sound.

Like the fingernails tapping on a tabletop.

    Click. Click. Click.

There it sat on her desk.

    The rock.

Eyes fixated on the inanimate object, Twilight examined it with such rigour.

    But it stood still.

    Yet still was that sound.

    Click. Click. Click.

    Then a different sound.

    Crack.

    Micro Story VII

Twilight glanced out the windows at the dim backdrop of stars.

Night time, she thought, and lazily went back to reading.

Then she returned back to the window.

    No wait, that's space!

How to not be a special snowflake, with Chrysalis. · 10:30am Dec 15th, 2015

"Unity is everything, you must be the same. This is not a bad thing. This makes everyone belong."

Within the crowd Twilight with a changeling mask strapped over her face raised a hoof.

"Do you think that's a good idea?" Fluttershy whispered urgently, though she was similarly disguised.

"Yes, changeling, do you have a question?" Chrysalis called out. She seemed annoyed, though there was an undercurrent of uncertainty, as if she wasn't used to the idea that a changeling would have a question. Not while she was giving one of her inspirational speeches, anyway.

"But aren't we all different, in little ways?" Twilight said. "When we're born, even the time between birth is enough to differentiate one twin from another. Nopony can be exactly the same."

Chrysalis furrowed her brows, but beckoned imperiously with a hoof. For a chilling moment, Twilight thought she had seen through her disguise. She shook her head. Impossible. It was perfect. She nervously made her way through the other changelings and ended up on the raised dais Chrysalis had been speaking from.

"What is your number, changeling?"

Twilight made one up. "Pi."

Chrysalis reared her head. "What?"

"Pi."

"I don't follow."

"The nursery got bored of assigning integers so they moved onto rational numbers. Then they got bored of that so they started using irrational numbers."

Chrysalis shook her head. "But if you assign changelings different classes of numbers, then they become special!"

Twilight chuckled. "But aren't we all unique by simply giving us a number in the first place?"

Chrysalis looked genuinely confused. "How so?"

"Well we get a unique number instead of a unique name. It's basically the same thing."

Chrysalis lowered her herself down until she sat on her haunches.

"Ah... I never thought of that."

Sometimes I like to imagine heroes and villains having really weird exchanges like this. I don't even know why.

Must be coz you're really weird yourself... Yea... me too

3619762 I'm not weird! Everyone else is... Same. We can be weird together!

yes, I too, daydream such things.. one involved Chrysalis getting hit in the face with a tuna

This was a fun exchange. I could see it.

I don't follow... and on the other hand I don't see why bronies tend to be so quick on the changelings with the dystopian future...

3620339 I'm... confused. Where does it say it was a dystopian future? It's not really hinting that either. It's just something silly.

3620001 :D

3619919 Tuna? Ah but it does give a nice meaty smack.

3620472 It has nothing to do with the thingie you posted here. In any case I'm really baffled about this... why do people adopt the numbers headcanon even?
