Although it left it, it knew that it was right, it made it down, because it didn't know what's up.

    You were the Chosen One!

    Alas, it was not so.

So as many of you may have surmised, I have violently but silently passed away.

That is to say I am dead.

Not in the literal sense, but possibly in the literary sense.

To make things short, I had a bit of a breakdown, a couple of other mundane life-things and a lack of time to even consider writing.

    Microstory X - Awkward Twilight

    It happened at a bookstore.

    "Hello," said the clerk.

    "Morning," Twilight mumbled back.

The clerk returned a strained smile back and then went back to work.

Twilight then realised in her half-tired state that it wasn't morning, it was the evening, the store was closed and it wasn't a bookstore, and the clerk wasn't there and she had been talking to a cardboard sign all this time.

    Microstory IX - The Existence

Before Twilight could say anything, Pinkie held up her hoof.

"Twilight, stop, before you say anything. I have to say something!"

    Silence followed.

"What were you going to say?"

    "...I forgot."

"Pinkie... what are you doing on my doorstep?"

"Twilight, you have to help me with my application!"

"What's this?" She held the documents up. "These look like job... rejections?"

Micro Story VIII - The Rock

It started with a slight clicking sound.

Like the fingernails tapping on a tabletop.

    Click. Click. Click.

There it sat on her desk.

    The rock.

Eyes fixated on the inanimate object, Twilight examined it with such rigour.

    But it stood still.

    Yet still was that sound.

    Click. Click. Click.

    Then a different sound.

    Crack.

    Micro Story VII

Twilight glanced out the windows at the dim backdrop of stars.

Night time, she thought, and lazily went back to reading.

Then she returned back to the window.

    No wait, that's space!

Then a different sound.

Crack.

Like the world announced its significance with that one cue.

It wasn't a rock, she realised, there and then.

It was an egg.

"Cheap!" it said.

"I most certainly am not!" Twilight shot back with a scowl. "I'm $ 50.00!"

I honestly don't know what you're expecting from this.

PS: ex. Tax

I haven't been around lately. I've been adulting and such. I'll probably jump back in with Hell Yeah first. I want to finish other works, but I don't feel very engaged (maybe not feeling season 8?) anyway, see you around... maybe.

$700 well spent, I'd say!

And I know that feel of not feeling S8 - after ep3 and 4, I have completely lost any drive to keep watching the show :/

4859515 I'm totally with you, buddy. But more like I haven't even watched Season 8, period. I should probably do it for narrative purposes, but heck, it's getting a bit dry. All good, though, most shows peak at the fourth season (or before that). Writing always starts off fresh and then producers milk it to the ground.

This isn't really about milking it to the ground - some shows can go for a very long time and still thrive. The problem here is that the new writers often just disregard pretty much everything the characters have learned and revert to their season 1 or 2 behaviours... as if they never learned anything. Or they just conveniently forget some things which have been pretty much hammered into their skulls.
I still plan to watch the other episodes in time, just... I don't know when. Probably will round up a few people on Discord and do a social watch where all of us will start watching at the same time and keep each others entertained or something, heh

Hey, how are you doing? What's going on? Why is Just Roll With It cancelled? I didn't see anything in the blog posts... Is everything alright? Are you planning to come back to it?

4939133 It's because I want to concentrate on a couple fics without distractions. I'm not sure if I ever will go back to finishing the cancelled ones, only that it's highly probable that I won't be able to. I'm really sorry, but at this point in time fan fiction is more of a hobby I squeeze in and other things like paying off a mortgage and creating original fiction may take more of a helm. I didn't make a blog post because I'm not sure if anybody actually reads blog posts? I usually use this as a space to throw random ideas I have and have fun.

Ok, well, I hope that you manage to put your affairs in order, manage to take care of your duties in real life, and that somehow, someday, you can get back to writing more about Just Roll With It, because it's just too great a story to just let it collect metaphorical dust, so I wish you the Best Of Luck, and please let me and the other fans know if and when you plan to get back to it, or if you need our help.... Maybe, if possible, you'll let us know how your original fiction is coming along, too?

4939867 Thanks! I will definitely let you know if I plan to get back into it! Also, whenever I'm confident, I'll probably release details on the original fiction later. I appreciate your understanding and patience!
