Just a heads up for those who prefer finished stories. Karrakaz just put out the last chapter of his Twilestia clopfic.
It's obviously NSFW so no links, but it's there in the feature box, or you can check his story page. It's very sweet and endearing, while managing to be more than a little naughty.
And it is urgent. Ilya, who has brilliantly performed a great many of the fandom's stories, is in need of immediate surgery. Unfortunately it is quite expensive, and he has not yet paid off his previous removal of cancerous tissue. As he explains:
I have been struggling to pay small amounts of the thousands of dollars I owe.
If you're interested in writing horror stories, you'll want to check out RockstarRaccoon's Nightmare Night in April contest. They're accepting horror stories written this year even if they were written prior to the contest announcement, so even if you don't have any ideas right now, you might still be able to enter. Have fun terrorizing the neighborhood!
So Princess * Live is finally out and running. Go and hit it up if you like!
Lucky Seven has an artist friend who is hard up for commissions financially. It looks like she normally does cute-style anime genre, but she is reportedly open to doing ponies, too. You might want to check her out.
Here is Not Enough Coffee's blog post about the artist, which links to Lucky Seven's original post (NEC's has more pictures up).
Thanks to everyone for making this possible! I hope we can reach this goal as soon as we can!
So, a friend of mine started a writing blog!
Dutch Tilt is a buddy of mine from overseas who I've known for years. He's always had a love of writing and so he's started up a blog of his own. A few of you maybe are familiar with his work (Country of Roses, a neat little Dark Tower/MLP crossover that got featured on Equestria Daily a while ago).
A really good friend, and an astounding writer, just put out the start of an amazing story called A Lapse of Reason. It's M-rated, so just a warning!
Fleetfoot has never been the romantic type. She's never felt that deep longing for a special somepony in her life — never had time for it either.
Then why does she have a crush, and why is she waking up in bed with him?
Hi there everyone, I don't write these often but I'd like to signal boost something for a friend. Recently he and another friend had their house burn down, they were already having issues but this really just piles onto the heap of things they have to deal with.
Ember stared at the piece of parchment in her hands.
"This is stupid," she said, puffing coils of smoke from her nostrils. Lying beside her, Twilight giggled into the piece of the duvet she had pressed against her muzzle.
"Only if we're playing antonyms," she replied, her voice dripping with delight.
"Well we're not," snapped Ember, folding her arms. "So it is."
Cloe (FabulousDivaRarity) is trying to move out of her home for the first time, where she's needed to call 911 on her family members on more than one occasion. This is the main blog post that discusses it (from a little over a week ago) where you can find a link to her Paypal if you want to toss her a little something to help her with the new place she's escaping to.
Hey guys! Just a brief update, I'm heckin' busy right now. A friend of mine, Lewdchapter, is setting up another contest and there are cash prizes up for grabs. The theme of the contest is a focus on Aria Blaze from EQG. You can find the link to it below:

Epic of a Diamond Dog is one of my absolute favorite adventure stories on this site! Ravencrofte just wrote a new chapter. Check it out!
Hey guys, Takarashi282 here. This isn't an update really, more of a signal boost for a podcast community that has been demonetized by YouTube due to changes in policy. They need 1,000 subscribers to continue charity work, and they're just shy a couple people.
I know that there are only just above fifty of you here, even less so who view my blogs, but if you can help fellow bronies out, then that'd be awesome.
Swisher is trying to find work and needs help in the interim.
He hasn't posted a donate link, but I've asked him to do so when he gets a chance. For the time being you can PM him if you want to donate something.
I never would've thought even a year ago that I would've gotten to 198 likes on If You Give a Little Love. Feel free to check the story out if you haven't yet and come back for a surprise when 200 hits! I hope you keep supporting my works and giving me more and more reasons to write. This is truly a dream come true for me!
As of today, all of Acts II and III have been uploaded. This means, therefore, that the story has been completely rereleased and new parts will begin again. I apologize to everyone for the inconvenience and hope the new fans continue to enjoy it. Also: if you have this story on your RiL, now is the best time to read it. I know it's a long series to catch up on, but we are 12 UPVOTES AWAY from the 200 milestone, so every one counts, even if you can only read the first part!
Attention, readers! If You Give a Little Love will be undergoing some major maintenance over the next month or so.
And right before the end of Act II! I can't wait to see how it'll fare throughout the course of its run. A lot of popular series seem to be ending/have just ended, so maybe we have more of a shot now! (I know I shouldn't be thinking this deviously as an author, but I get competitive like this sometimes.)
