I’d never considered myself a Twenty Øne Piløts fan. I was a girl who liked their songs but hadn’t bothered digging into Blurryface and Vessel, both apparently fantastic albums.

But I do have to admit I was a huge fan of Trench, and when I kept hearing Shy Away, the lead single to TØP’s recent studio album, on the local Alternative station, I have to admit, I was rather excited for Scaled and Icy.

Ahh, Ch.3(Expression). Or as I like to call it: The chapter where I finally figured out what the heck I was doing.

Look, I was writing a story about Gallus receiving therapy for his trauma, his friends’ reactions to learning about his breakdown, and the blossoming romance between him and Silverstream who was going through her own breakdown, all while trying to work themes of identity, personal growth, paranoia, self-worth, family, and the classic “Coming of age” trope into the narrative.

And Chapter 1 is out! I've rewritten chapter 1 of She Wore A Yellow Ribbon, and this time I didn't delete the old chapters in case you want to see how terrible they were before. I will keep them there, even though I intend to vastly change the story, just for historical purposes. It's good to see where you've come from, I believe. Chapter 6 of “Behind Him” is nearing completion. There are at least two or three scenes that need to be edited then all the editing needs to be done. I apologize for the incredibly long delay on this one, life has gotten super busy and other personal things have put this story on a long hold. I don’t have a set publication date but I hope to not spend too much longer on this chapter.

It only just now occurred to me that I never did one of these for this story. I don’t know why.

This story was written simply and came from a simple place.
