(Did anypony else notice that Twilight Sparkle used DARK MAGIC to turn the alicorn potion from purple to white to divine why Luna and Celestia were missing in the episode Princess Twilight Sparkle?)
Methinks the little alicorn Princess is holding back on us *grin*.
So here we are, hurtling towards the end of 2017. It annoys me to see how little I wrote this past year (56 hours, 27 minutes [i.e. 2 days, 8 hours, 27 minutes]) compared to my first year here on FIMFic (which was in 2016) of 173 hours, 22 minutes [1 week, 5 hours, 39 minutes]). I have had some unexpected dry spells this year - mostly due to the stress of my dementia patient's rapid deterioration. Luckily for all involved, my push to get him the proper anti-psychotic medication finally paid off and he's as placid as he'll ever be until his condition changes radically again, which hopefully won't be for some time.
I have an ever-growing list of story ideas - 30 in total. Why haven't I published more than 12 stories? Because they are all either very long story-archs or they are incomplete outlines. I also had a tremendous problem with untangling the timelines for Frozen Shadows. When you aren't a natural born wielder of Time Magic like Nyx is, it's much harder to keep it all straight in your head - not that she has an easier time of it normally than I do. But I think I finally got it figured out so work will progress on that story where it was stalled for months before.
By the way, the reason I am throwing year-end numbers are you is because I just passed my second year here on FIMFic - as of December 5th, I officially begin Year Three. It has been a wonderful ride so far - especially with meeting two of my fellow Sombra writers in person and spending quality time with them one-on-one and while at Equestria L.A. Tale Weaver (my husband) and I intend to go to more MLP conventions in 2018, so if there is one near you, please come and visit us - even if you can't afford to hit the convention proper, these things always have hotel lobbies and eateries around them and we would LOVE to sit and chat with you over dinner or any local activity you could recommend we hit.
One more quick thing before I bug out of here and get back to writing and work - the Stalk Me While I Write Saturday/Sunday livecast's last session this year is this coming Sunday. Because Christmas and New Years both fall on Sunday this year, we'll be readying for both holidays Friday - Sunday and it is celebrated similarly in Iceland and England (where my fellow Sombraphiles in the 'cast live), so we will go "dark" the last two weekends of December (i.e. we won't be 'casting).
So Happy Holidays everyone and as I always sign off and say, be sure to ALWAYS
Hail King Sombra!
Ugh, dark magic came up the other day on a list of great hooks that the show dropped. But hey, if the pony of shadows can come back, maybe it can too.

The Pony of Shadows was AWESOME! I LOVE how his magic looked like black lightning and was so CHAOTIC
From the first time I laid eyes on him, I've been trying to think of a story idea to tie him and King Sombra together...anyone have any ideas how that could be pulled off? I'll write it if it's viable.
