Just a heads up, there may be a skipped BaBW post in the coming weeks, as I work to get Colony ready for release. Scheduling, time in a day, and all that.

Welcome back readers, to Being a Better Writer! Tuesday edition, because … reasons. It happens.
Welcome back readers! I apologize for the lateness of this post, but I had a physical therapy appointment this morning, and that took up the early part of the day when I normally would have been writing this post.
Hello readers, and welcome back to another Being a Better Writer Monday usual!
I cherish every moment I have with my dad. I went around home for the first time in maybe a month to see him. A certain someone wasn't happy about me being home, but she can frankly shove it. So I saw my dad and was chatting to him while he was working on the decking. As he would say, he's ''up Crappy Creek'' because of no work thanks to the virus, and his work van literally broke down when he was going to look for a job, and this was right when he had a bunch of work lined up, so that's slowed
In this edition of “Behind the Scenes” we’ll be looking at Stardust’s early chapters and how it evolved from its earliest concepts and into the story we have today.
This one may be a bit more spoilery so fair warning.
Yep, after careful examination, and cross-referencing over the past few days, I can confirm without a doubt, my haters are hopelessly idiotic and uncaring of facts (or even their own so-called Logic)
I've mainly noticed this after writing particularly emotional scenes, like a flashback I just wrote for chapter 15. ((I wrote 3 or 4 chapters ahead, and edit the next one to be posted as I go)) It can be emotionally draining to write some scenes, especially thoughts involving traumas that the characters experienced. It can be kinda rough! I can't even imagine how hard it'd be to write a story like Murky Number Seven or Pink Eyes, with how dark those stories can get at times. It's honestly super
Chapter 8 took longer than I'd hoped, but I'm quite happy with how it all turned out. I think I'm going to be slowing my upload time to a more sustainable pace? Plus it gives me time to go back and make edits to the chapters that are already up, which has been really fun to do so far!
I'd love to hear anyone's thoughts on the fic, or just talk about FoE stuff in general honestly. Happy holidays!
Hello readers! Welcome back! It’s another Monday, and bigger still another month! It’s officially April! So, let’s drop some updates before we get into the meat of things. Starting with some real news about Starforge.
Welcome back, writers! You’re here! And I’m … well, not. Sort of.
Welcome back, writers! It’s late, but it’s new! That’s right, the internet is up at my new place and that means more Being a Better Writer!
Yesterday, I posted an essay about Summer Sun Setback, the princesses, and the fact that the end of the show is neigh. There are, however, a few more thoughts on the episode that I wanted to share that don't quite fit into that box.
The theme of Summer Sun Setback was growth - moving on, and the story reinforces that theme in a lot of little ways in 22 minutes.
