Apple Shampoo reading by ObabScribbler · 11:27am Dec 30th, 2017

Apparently, the masses spoke, and they demanded RariJack. And specifically, my RariJack.

I was very happy to see this show up suddenly in my feed today. Thanks to everyone who voted for it to get a reading, and to Scribbler and her cast of voice actors to do this!

As He Lay Dying - Dramatic Reading by Scribbler · 8:01pm Aug 12th, 2016

Obabscribbler, a very talented writer, is also well-known for her excellent dramatic readings of fanfics. They include background music, talented voice actors delivering the lines of various characters, and of course Scribbler's own voice as narration.

Read It Later Reviews #27 – Farewell, X is a Changeling, Experience, For Ages and Ages to Come, Shoots and Roots · 1:17am Aug 19th, 2015

I managed to get sick this last weekend. It was a really rapid onset; within three hours I went from feeling totally fine to shivering uncontrollably, my head, shoulders, and arms aching, and a 102.8F fever which persisted for two days, along with some wonderful intestinal symptoms.

And then, today, I felt way better. Go figure.

Oh well, onto the pony fanfiction!

Today is Election Day in the United States, the crescendo of over a year and a half of people campaigning to be leader of the free world. Be sure to vote, if you haven’t already (I did in mid-October, because here in Oregon, we vote by mail – no waiting around in line, and plenty of time to research the topics while you’re voting).

One of my fics got a reading! "The End" is on YouTube! :D · 1:33am Oct 3rd, 2016

So, this just happened. I was on YouTube, checking out ObabScribbler's channel to see what will be made for Month of Macabre 2016.
I clicked on the playlist for it and looked through the first submissions, when I saw a familiar picture as the thumbnail and had a thought:

"Is this.....? Nah, probably just a coincidence, surely not my fic....."

But guess what?! It was! Someone on YouTube did a reading of one of my fanfictions! :pinkiehappy:

Read It Now Reviews #63 – Colors of the Soul, Unfair, Did Not, The Ever Ash Project, Denial · 2:32am Dec 4th, 2015

With season 5 over, it is time for people to release their reaction fics. I expect that this season finale will be fertile ground for fanfics for many months to come. I myself have some ideas, but I am going to try and push out a lot of stories I’ve got in my pipeline first.

Of course, there’s another writeoff coming up in just a few weeks, so maybe it won’t be such a long delay after all…

And then it'll be back to Britain!

Now, in regards to the comments and PM's i've gotten from you guys and gals, which i have been unable to reply to properly on this daft tablet, first of all - The Slending Angel, your story piece looks good, but explain what kind of story it's going to be next time so i know what you're going for.

Tripy998, we'll try the lyrics on wednesday, when i ought to be back in Britain by then, okay?

Xarsor, you mention something about a song i think?

Read It Later Reviews #61 – Silver Spanner gets her Cutie Mark, Variables, The Art of the Derp, The Sisters and the Dragon, Numberography · 12:39am Nov 10th, 2016

I am only operating at a fraction of my total productivity – I got almost nothing done yesterday – but I did manage to get another review set done (well, apart from Read It Now #100, a very special read it now).

There’s so much more I could do if only I could focus myself better.

Chillaxing and a surprise visit! · 12:48am Aug 30th, 2015

Just spent a day at the villa chilling out by the pool. Got a pretty funny video to upload of that event too, providing this shitty tablet will work well enough to let me do so. Also had a surprise visit from the daughter of the woman who married my mom and dad back in 2004 when we came on holiday to America for the first time. Sadly that lady passed away from cancer, but it was lovely to see her daughter, her father, and her stepmom over at our place. We had a nice talk and conversation about

Read It Now Reviews #56 – Wait After Knocking, Adaptation, Hurricane’s Champron, Cruel Beauty, This Is Not An Adventure Clyde Story: A Story About Twilight Sparkle · 5:57am Sep 30th, 2015

Sorry for the dearth of reviews lately; I’ve been busy at work not revising Mistletrapped so I can get the last few chapters posted. Alas, it is very easy to let such a thing displace other things that are more easily achieved, but I’ve been trying to avoid doing easy things instead of buckling down and chewing on hard tasks.

But the release of several new stories by people I follow removed the option of putting this off any further.

Two Audio Readings (Truthfully & Think Pink) · 8:22pm Feb 25th, 2023

There is a reason I haven't done a New Years-type of blog. Hopefully, more on that will follow eventually. Anyway, there are two audio readings I would like to share with y'all. Thank you to Lotus Moon and Obabscribbler for taking the time to make these. Oh, and a reminder that a complete list of audio readings, fan art, and reviews can be found on my page.

November Plans and Updates · 11:50pm Nov 13th, 2020

So we’re almost halfway through the month, and I’ve suddenly gained a desire to make some plans for the remainder of November. Most of them involve polishing up some stories and writing some blogs I’ve always been meaning to over the past year. Normally, I would’ve partaken in National Pony Writing Month like I have in other years, but unfortunately Equestria Daily wasn’t overseeing it this year. I could do my own version, but I found myself wanting to focus on my own work and squaring away
