The Dark Season is upon us again, with wings made of fright, and that means The Fluttering Scare has returned for another month of horrors beyond your imagination.

And it's off to a great start, unlike in any year before, I have already written a Nightmare Night story and released it. "The Angel with One Wing" is a story I wrote for the 4th Annual Cozy Glow Short Story Contest, with a submission deadline of September 25th.

It's Cozy Glow's first Nightmare Night in Ponyville, she explores a horrible, frightening place and there is a deep decision Cozy has to make..... What path in life does she follow and has she really made the right choice? There is a second wing for Cozy, hidden in this darkest of all nights, but will she find it?

There will be at least one other horror story for Nightmare Night that I will write this year, a fresh idea that I got inspired to only today. This year will also see the 2nd Anniversary of "The Sky is Gone", which I will write more about later once the date comes.

I am eyeing two pony horror stories to read this month already, "Those Who Roam The Woods" by KingdaKa, one that's freshly off the writing desk as of today, and "I See No Foals" by gapty. And I am looking forward to this year's "Month of Macabre" by ObabScribbler and all the pony horror music that will release this month. Last year had a crazy amount of that and I can't wait to see if this will be repeated.

Bring it on, Dark Season! Spook and scare me with everything you got!
