This was a pretty sweet episode. Nothing spectacular, just enjoyable. Nothing much else to be said, but as the new writers grow, we might get something as interesting as it is sweet. Unto the thoughts~
So I found a thread talking about FIMfiction, and they happen to have a list of stories they recommend as a place to start,
I can personally say The Best Night Ever, Hard Reset, Mendacity, and Arrow 18 are all great fics, so the list is promising to me. Consider checking a story you haven't read, especially if it's in a genre you favor.
Rarity: "…Let me guess, one of today's episodes prominently features you?"
Rainbow Dash: "Heh, actually, they both do! But don't worry, you get in on the action in one of them too."
Rarity: "Oh! Another episode pairing us up? That can only lead to unexpected things. Do tell, Rainbow Dash."
As the MC's mentor and initially last ruling alicorn, perhaps it was natural that Princess Celestia got the occasional cameo every now and again?
Rating Scale:
12/10—a complete masterpiece; flawless and outstanding
11/10—Excellent, near-perfect film
10/10—the standard rating; awesome film with a couple of flaws
9/10—a wonderful film with several flaws

Everyone does favourite pony or favourite episode lists, so I thought I’d try something slightly different and make a list of my favourite moment for each pony. I went to see the movie "The Martian" today. I waited through the credits, hoping for an after-credit-scene —— ¡no after-credits-scene! When the credits were finished, a teenager was in the theater cleaning it. She asked whether she should make this her free-movie-of-the-week. I said yes. This went into a conversation about the movie and this ended up talking about the sad fact that we lack the political will to go to Mars, which brought up politics of Project Apollo and how we wanted
