I've almost finished the first draft of a new story, which at over 25,000 words, is my longest to date. It still needs a lot of work before it will be ready for publication. Like most my stuff, this one has a good dose of science, but (I hope) it also has significant merit as a story.

My little niece is watching the show. She wants an mlp doll from her mother, but before choosing which one to get she came to me to ask my opinion.

Even though the series is canceled here in the US, everyone seems to enjoy the show even if it's in japanese. And to tell you the truth so do I. Okay, so a few weeks back I got my dad's permission to watch Marvel's Daredevil. (The Netflix series, not that crappy movie.) and I like it so far. While it hasn't made it into my top shows just yet largely because how slow things seem to move at times, I expect now that I'm halfway through the first season things should start to pick up soon.
