What space ship would you use to massage your Overpowered Pony?
Think science fiction with lasers and stuff.
I've been eyeing the "rating" ranking on Changeling Space Program recently.
This morning it was the 13th most popular fic on FimFiction... going by a ratio of up-votes to down-votes.
I'll repeat that: #13 on the list of most popular fics.
The thing is, it was also the only one in the top fifty or so with a three-digit up-vote count. It was that high because only three people had ever down-voted it.
My first story is on hold cause I'm just not comfortable writing it anymore. My writing style has changed since I wrote those stories. So, after reading the Arrow 18 Mission logs, a fantastic work of literature, I decided to make a new story. Link to Arrow 18 Mission Logs: Lone Ranger
So, here it is. A sneak peak at my new story, "A million miles from home."
International Times. September 35th, 2353.
I just realized that all the way back in Chapter 1 of Space Horse, I mentioned that Gadget learned her abilities from her parents.
BUT...
Don't forget, the Equestria that'll serve as the setting for the sequel will be one where the humans from Gen. 1 have coexisted with ponies for hundreds, if not thousands of years, meaning that they'd likely have picked up a few skills here and there from the ponies.
In about an hour I'll make another stream attempt- KSP again. (7 PM Central, Twitch.tv/redneckgaijin ) .
Speed tests with my ISP seem to be normal, and TwitchCon is over, so maybe things are fixed now. We'll see. No guarantees, though.
And most of it is dull, because most of it was successful (and kind of easy).
But don't worry, there's an explosion near the end.
Those on my Patreon will already see the links for a LOT of streaming stuff! But here's the non-Patron-exclusive links:
Tonight, 7 PM Central: Kerbal Space Program- The Maretian
I'm going to build Concordia! (Probably not launch it, though. It would take multiple launches and orbital assembly.)

Wednesday, 9 PM Central: KWLP is On the Air!
One last run through my "Call of Cthulhu" playlist!
Welcome to the third and final part of my blog series on Negative Space.
You've seen what I think about the definitions and usage of negative space in stories. Now let's look at the opposite side - filling in that space.
Negative space does not and, not in all cases, should not remain empty. Empty literary space can, in the wrong forms, be frustrating to the reader.
So I'm writing and posting little previews of things to my Patreon (https://www.patreon.com/KrisOverstreet) to get more donors. I'll have most of January to work on things, and I'm going to open my focus up for a vote.
First: the beginning of the next chapter of CSP.

Chapter 13: Mission 21 – Somewhat Worse Than Average Accidents
“Keep pushing, Cadence.”
"Did you have a good reason for refusing Prince Rutherford of Yakyakistan's desire for a journey on your starship?"
"Yes."
"And what was that reason?"
"A vivid imagination of the consequences of" - air quotes - "THIS NOT YAK OXYGEN! YAKS DESTROY!"

And Filling Space, my new story written as a part of exploring the concepts in this blog.
Voted on by my followers! Thank you for voting for a topic I'd really like to explore. At the end of this blog series, I'll gather another list of topics to explore.
Welcome to chapter 20, Changeling Spaces. Spoilerific discussion after the page break.
Heyo. I tend to be quiet. And had a friend basically inspire this stupid idea of a sort with the various "Humans are space orks/good people posts that happen."
Data rotation Four thousand sixty eight. Today was interesting node. I'm logging this for being, unusual in the entry.
This event occurred after shift hours at a local human establishment on station. And why they choose to name such after human construction, I do not know.
Specifically, tomorrow evening (Monday 9-9), beginning 7 PM, at which point I believe I will fly a CSP mission which will get at most a paragraph in the next chapter, just to finish the temperature scans that didn't happen in Mission 22. That will run from building a rocket from scratch to as many "simulated" launches as necessary (read: revert to VAB if the design proves bad) to landing a rocket-rover on Minmus.

The artist who drew the pics of Occupant, Goddard and the Minotaur rocket scientists I shared last month lost her job recently, and her employer hasn't reported the dismissal to her state unemployment office. She's offering a special deal for commissions right now:
