LTUE Day Three Report! · 6:48am Feb 16th, 2020

Hello readers! If you’ve been following the two days before this, well … you can probably guess how tired I am, stacking onto the two days prior. Thankfully, I wasn’t the only one in the green room this morning waiting to wake up. Cons are a marathon, and LTUE is no exception!

So long 2020 (AND NEVER COME BACK!!!) · 3:47pm Dec 31st, 2020

I have written on this sheet of toilet paper the year... and yes... come the stroke of 12, I am going to FLUSH IT down the drain!!

This has been a heck of a crappy year, mainly due to Covid...

-Locking us down so we can't even go get haircuts (and I could USE a decent one)
-Some of our favorite locations have gone bankrupt and won't be around after we're free again.
-No Conventions
-No Halloween

LTUE Day Two Report! · 5:22am Feb 15th, 2020

For all the typos yesterday, today may see even more. I am absolutely wrung out. Ever seen a taffy pull? That taffy is how my brain feels. And if I’ve lost my voice tomorrow morning due to speaking so much today, well …

Worth. It.

So, let’s recap, shall we?

That Was The Year That Was · 12:31am Jan 1st, 2021

Happy New Year! Piss off, 2020, you big twat; here's hoping that 2021 is the year things return to anything even remotely resembling normal.

Normally I would go into detail about what to expect from me, but... well, given my track record for 2020, I'm really not in a position to be making promises I can't exactly keep.

I hope you all had a good festive season, and wish you all the best for 2021.

Stay awesome!

Good evening, fillies and gentlecolts!

I hope the day is finding you well. As usual, I'll be starting with the current word count for the upcoming sequel. And, as usual, it's absolutely abysmal.
Start of 7/27 Shift Goal: 13,000 words
Actual 7/27 Word Count: 2,798 words (10,203 word deficit)

2020 has so far made 2016 look TAME! · 3:16am May 31st, 2020

Yeah I'm shocked I said that too. Point in case, I drove past a "protest" a while ago, while I was out getting supplies. Somebody had this on blast with the cops in range (warning for explicit content):

Now all this and what am I doing while cowering in my friend's car? Simply playing the following video with my phone on my lap. Attempting to look as inconspicuous as possible (probably shouldn't have worn a old hoodie):

Chapter Delay because F*** 2020 · 4:15pm Dec 14th, 2020

Greetings Fellow Readers

I regret to inform my follows that the final chapter of Autumn Scarlet is going to be delayed. My initial plan was to publish the final chapter on the final day of Autumn which is December 20th for appropriate reasons. This was a plan I had formed in an attempt to break out of my rut and actually publish stories. The week of Christmas was going to be busy because I was going to publish not one, not two, but three works on Fimfiction.

79,000 words in the Month of November! Only 68,000 of those are usable for the first book.

If you are so intrigued, currently I put The Irises of Thumantia on AO3.

People....it's been about a year... · 1:37am Mar 12th, 2021

The nation had to shut down.
Schools were in the process of switching to online.
We all had to stay at home/limit how often we left the house for supplies.
Toilet paper became the stock pile obsession.
Zoom became our best used tool.
Streaming services became members of the family at that point.
Protests....
Election stress...
Mental health/self-care increase...
Death.....

It's been 12 months of Hell....yet for the most part...we survived.

A Year in (Movie) Review · 5:25am Jan 10th, 2020

Peppered throughout my stories are various references to films and movies, as I'm sure several of you guys noticed (A Dare's Truth has several ponified versions of movies, and Scootaloo and The Cabinet of Seers has a few references as well). I love movies - I go once, sometimes twice, a week to the local theater to see a new movie! It's gotten to the point where the Tuesday staffer recognizes me and knows exactly how I like my popcorn.

Another year under the shadow of COVID-19. Another year in which the politics of fear, anger and division continued its onslaught on common decency and civilized behavior in political discourse, as well as its attack on the very foundations of democracy and the institutions that protect us all from charlatans, demagogues and the ugly, slippery slope that leads to fascism, and worse.

It would be easy under the circumstances to succumb to pessimism, cynicism and nihilism.

Kickin' off 2020 with some war stories from my parents! · 3:36am Jan 2nd, 2020

So, my mom invited some friends over, and at some point while we were having dinner, the conversation turned to comparing the Korean and Vietnam wars, because her friends were Korean, and my parents (even though they aren't fully Vietnamese) came from Vietnam. I already knew quite a bit of my dad's side of the story, but until today I really haven't heard all that much about my mom's experience in Vietnam. So, I listened in, and now I'ma post because this is 2020 and I'm some guy on the
