If you're like me, and had given up hope of ever finding out what was going to happen in Half Life 2: Episode 3: The Legend of Curly's Gold (or whatever they were going to call it), today brings an unexpected surprise: The writer of the Half Life series, Marc Laidlaw, has posted the episode's plot in the form of a letter from Gordon Freeman himself... albeit, with some name changes for what I presume to be legal reasons.
Finally, after months of distractions, writing and editing around college work, I have completed part 2/3 of "Sacred & Wild"! I wish I could guarantee that the next chapter won't take three months to complete, but alas, my creativity tends to be a bit sporadic. I have a few ideas for a new short story in the meantime, but I can at least assure my (admittedly tiny) audience that I know how to finish at least one of my longer stories!
I decided To get Middle Earth Shadow Of War and Xcom 2 (On Xboxone). both of these games I have been looking forward to getting, I wanted To Get Horizon Zero Dawn for Ps4 but I didn't have the money, Oh well there's always next time.
As For writing, I haven't really been focusing On It but I'm trying to get back too It I want to get the next chapter to A Padded Slumber Party out before this month Ends so hopefully I can do that.
As some of you might know, I studied biomedical engineering while I was at Vanderbilt. That was more than a decade ago now, which is crazy to think about.
I used to make stuff back on SMM1, but it was pretty beginner level stuff and I had no idea what I was doing.
and the same truth holds here! Kinda. I'm trying to improve.
I'd still definitely consider myself a beginner, so if any of you guys happen to have SMM2 and would like to give me some advice, it'd be appreciated.
I only have two levels so far:
So The story that I had intended for Broken then healed 2 is nearing the wrapping point. This leaves me with a question. Should I create a new story that is Broken then Healed 3 or should I just keep it all under Broken Then Healed 2 and call it book 2 of the Overall BTH2?
Okay, I felt like making a blog?? I haven't worked too much on either story (Purple tears 2/Star's shadow) because school, well, it's going to kick my butt again this year. I thought high school MIGHT be easier- and I was right! Getting past Algebra was a godsend, but somehow I failed a Geometry test (brought me down to a B) and I'm really triggered rn.
bUT I'm going to do better this year!
Also, regarding Purple tears 2 (not going to use the real name until it's published hue hue hue)
This goes out to anyone that is following me. The last couple of weeks have been hard. In one day I lost my merchandizing job, the position had been elimanated via corporate restructureing, and then lost another job I had been working on for 16 years. That is where the true crux of this blog post lies. I lost that position when a Facebook post that I had written in support of others going through some tough times, was reported to the police. Thing is, my Facebook page since its inception

Wish I could play this game for the first time again. Outstanding and very action-packed and emotional. The story-telling was beautiful and playing as Arthur Morgan was quite an enjoyable experience. Love his sarcasm and his lines when he roasts either the gang members in camp or random strangers. In the end, this game broke my heart. Getting to know a character like Arthur and discovering the kind of man he was on his journey in the world, all the hardships he's faced, personal demons and
