Horsecon 2019: The End of the Horse · 3:47am Aug 5th, 2019
Otherwise known as the horse's ass.
Otherwise known as the horse's ass.
All of you who regularly read my blogs knew this was coming, but I'll state it again for those of you who don't. I'm leaving the site. Now that my latest story is completed, I'm officially tapped out of horsewords. Not only that, but my passion for FiM is pretty much dried up, so I don't have any real reason to keep hanging around here. Yet, at least, but I'll get back to that down below. I'll give a brief summary of my time on Fimfiction.
So, you remember Andrés from this post?
Well, he's just died It's very sad. We don't know what happened to him. We came to love him like a baby, but he has just passed away
Press F to pay respects.
Came across this beautiful song on YouTube recently, and I figured I'd share it.
To those loving couples out there*, this one's for you.
* - The key word there is "loving". If you're contemplating divorce or may contemplate divorce in the future, you don't qualify.
I'm sorry guys I must go, basically, I don't think I can come back it's with a heavy heart I must say goodbye.
Reasons
Well, my job is one, too. To make a long story short I work in a nursing home as a food server and basically, the server does all if not most of the work while most of the managers don't help. even if we are short-staffed. But it's not like I can quit I need the insurance.
My story is on hiatus, I lose internet soon.
I'll be back as soon as I can. I have lots more done and want to post it, but that's going to be a while. Internet is important, but it's not a priority so this could take me a while. I look forward to coming back and seeing you all again. And seeing all of the stories that are posted during my absence. (And getting to my read later list when I’m not panicked.)
A few specific goodbyes right now.
I'm off to Colorado.
The net will probably be cut at any moment and I don't know when I'll get it back. So:
Signed,
Inazuma
I know some of you may have noticed the fact that I haven't been to the site in a while, well there is a reason for that.
Recently, I have lost all interest in writing in the MLP:FIM universe, I just...I try and I get nothing. So, rather then try and force some creativity out and create stuff akin to what happened when Frank Herbert was forced to write the next to Dune books, I have instead turned my writing bug to other interests.
I hate European Union! You know what's going on?! We fu***d up! We organized protests, we sent emails, we tried to get publicity, but... Nobody cares about that! The Internet will be censored, the MEPs do not care about the opinion of the founder of the Internet.
EU destroyed my dreams, September 12 will be voting, if ACTA 2 will come into force, I will not continue my story, I will try to publish chapter 13, and then... nothing will be
Hello, fellas.
Jeez, it's been two years since my last blog post. Quite a long time, ain't it? Well, I think it's safe to say that I'm no longer a brony. I haven't kept up with the show at all, and I have no clue as to what happens beyond season 5. The only reason I still browse Fimfiction at all anymore is to keep up with the Austraeoh series, and maybe read the occasional one-shot. That's it, really.
It may have happened weeks ago and it certainly isn't news to anyone now, but this will be my piece.
As of about seven weeks ago, a writer I enjoyed so much -The Rogue Wolf- has packed up and left the site. As shown in his blog posts, he'd spoken about his lack of motivation and I find it quite saddening that he's finally gone.
His works were realised and excellent in every way.
Where I'm from, less than 2 hours are left before the beginning of a new year. I've heard the news about the new variant of COVID-19 and as usual, the pandemic still goes on. I just hope that there would be a light at the end of the tunnel for 2021 and beyond. I miss watching movies at the cinema, getting a haircut at the salon, and window shopping at malls far away from home.
Anyway, take care, stay safe, and I wish you all good health.
I was informed last night by Silverblade5 that Denim_Blue has deleted his Fimfiction account, and with them, all his stories. I'm thus very sorry to report that the fandom in general and the Gentlemanverse in particular has just lost another fine author.
So this should come as a surprise to absolutely no one. But now that To Save a Life is complete, I'm leaving Fimfiction. The truth of the matter is that I've simply lost my passion for fanfiction in general now that I've started writing my own original content. It just doesn't compare. I still love the show, and I'll probably pop in from time to time, but my fanfic writing days are over. I regret that I have to leave Shine and Spark unfinished, but the story(ies) I'm working on now is ten times
No more as I honestly can't do it to myself. My computer implodes every time I go to NationalDayCalendar.com I don't think anyone cared though.
Hello there.
Some of you may have noticed my inactivity here on this site recently.
And I must inform you that I am taking a short break from writing...
At least not in the way you know...
I won't be doing any more first draft publishes, I promise,
So even if I fail from now on, at least I put more effort and time into it.
I can't guarantee a story every month or year...
But I can guarantee that I won't be leaving this site or the community.
As should be obvious from 15 months without a feature, life has taken the Royal Canterlot Library curators in different directions. While there’s still plenty of awesome stories being written in the My Little Pony fandom, we’re no longer actively working to spotlight them, and it’s time to officially draw the project to a close.
Contact me on my mission: braden.hurt@missionary.org
For those of you who see this for the first time past October 31st, I am effectively absent from the site. I will be serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in San Bernardino, California for two years.
Let's be honest, 2017 kinda kicked our flanks, but that's not gonna stop us from having good times. So, let's try and look forward to the New Year, together, and look on the bright side of things, okay?
