    Original Displaced story is available

I'm back for the second, most likely actual final time. I have no idea what the state of the site is or how many of the people following me are still on the site. I even have no idea what the state of the MLP intellectual property is, how Gen 5 turned out, etc. I'm here to signal boost my third book, which, as the blog title says, is based on the Displaced subgenre here on Fimfiction, but minus

    My final farewell

All of you who regularly read my blogs knew this was coming, but I'll state it again for those of you who don't. I'm leaving the site. Now that my latest story is completed, I'm officially tapped out of horsewords. Not only that, but my passion for FiM is pretty much dried up, so I don't have any real reason to keep hanging around here. Yet, at least, but I'll get back to that down below. I'll

    Leaving the site

I know I don't often give updates like this in my blogs, but as you can see, this is too significant not to share with all of you. I'm of the opinion that having a following of people, no matter its size, requires you to keep them informed when you make big decisions like this.

Indeed, this lizardman will be leaving Fimfiction.

My final farewell · 9:20pm Nov 1st, 2020

All of you who regularly read my blogs knew this was coming, but I'll state it again for those of you who don't. I'm leaving the site. Now that my latest story is completed, I'm officially tapped out of horsewords. Not only that, but my passion for FiM is pretty much dried up, so I don't have any real reason to keep hanging around here. Yet, at least, but I'll get back to that down below. I'll give a brief summary of my time on Fimfiction.

It was sometime in very late 2012 that I first discovered the site. I had discovered the show through the following narration of Cupcakes-

-which piqued my interest for one simple reason: If someone was inspired to write such a grimdark interpretation of My Little Pony, there had to be something good to the show. So I did some net surfing, gradually discovering little tidbits of MLP: FiM fan content, as well as both seasons on youtube (yo ho ho!). Through this, I discovered Fimfiction. My first stories were an adventure trilogy starring Cadance as a warrior princess battling against a Lovecraftian horror that I don't remember the name of. From there, I continued reading. Also around this time, my creative muse was starting to mature. I'd written for a hentai site (yes, really) for about a year beforehand, and I needed somewhere new to go to develop my writing skills. Fimfiction was that place, and so, I got to work writing horsewords.

My experience on the site and interacting with everyone has been a roller coaster ride. I'm a very stubborn and opinionated person, so naturally, I've rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. But I'm also glad to have helped many others cultivate their own talents. Most of the people I directly interacted with on this site, positively or negatively, either don't follow me or have long since left, so there isn't much more for me to say about all that. Always remember that what goes up must come down, that good days eventually lead into bad days and vice versa, and you literally cannot get along with every single person in the world. Reality is set in its ways, and those who choose to accept this will know true peace of mind. As such, my time on this site has reached an end, making way for my transition into writing original works. I'm currently nearing the end of my first original novel, so I'll get to see whether or not I'm cut out for it soon.

This leads me to the possibility of logging back on sometime in the future. I'm planning on sticking around for a couple of days to see people's comments to this blog before stepping away for real, but if I ever get one of my works published, let me know if you think you'd be interested in checking it out based solely on what you've seen me write for this site. Comment down below, and maybe I'll come back in the future to promote my stuff. Of course, you people might not bother to keep following me, or the site might be around by then, but it's good to cover all of your bases.

Regardless of whether or not you care, thank you all for choosing to follow me because you like my ponyfics. It's always my mission to write things that people will like or will challenge their worldview. The fact that I accumulated over 350 followers during my entire time here is amazing, considering I put stuff on my youtube channel but have nowhere near as many subscribers. Seeing people comment how much they love my stories makes my 7+ years on this site worth the time spent. No matter where I go in my life, whether I find success or continue being a nobody, I'll be eternally grateful for the opportunity Fimfiction gave me to hone my skills, and for all the great people I met during my time here, both online and at Bronycon.

It was a great time you all. Thanks again for paying attention to me. I'll leave things off with a tear-jerking music track:

Well you take care of yourself then I’m sure a number of users will miss you greatly.:pinkiesad2:

See you later man. Be safe.

I see. That's a shame. I'll continue reading your old works, even when you're gone.

Thanks for the fun times my dude. I hope to hear when you write new stuff.

Well, I will miss you. You were nice to me, after all.

I'll try to stay in contact with you on the other places that we have talked. But no matter what, just keep moving forward.
