So for a future chapter I've got a pony with a story telling cutie mark. I've been building up to this with great subtlety. You'll never guess who it is. I'm very pleased with that particular scene. Over all, I am pleased with that entire chapter.

I need a cutie mark that could represent a talent for justice from a time before court, paper, jury, and anything else related to justice. How do I symbolize this? A rock hammer hitting a rock gavel?
Well, I decided how I am going to do this Halloween story. It is going to be about Scootaloo going deep into the woods at night on Nightmare Night. She might act a bit like she did in "Sleepless in Ponyville", but this a whole different story. I'll give a bit of heads up on the story.

Dear god do I hate The Gift of Maud Pie, and I think I've figured out why. Yes, Maud is an inherently boring character and not worth building an episode around. Double yes, Rarity was acting like an idiot the entire time, and it was irritating more than amusing. But the umber one reason why I just do not like that episode is Pinkie. So I pretty much snorted all 8 episodes now on Netflix, and I'm genuinely... annoyed.

The first episode of Make Your Mark Chapter 2 is on YouTube (and all eight are on Netflix).
I'm three episodes in. So far, the writing is a decidedly marked improvement from the special, but not quite reaches the quality levels of the movie. Animation as well. Looking forward to more, but not sure I'll get through all eight tonight.
Theme song is decent too.
Make Your Mark is far from perfect, but I love love love love love the fact that THE PRETTY ONE™️ gets all of the zaniest faces, and the vast majority of the show's slapstick.
