Sorry to hijack my own update on the story, but Deadpool has made himself known. I won't say too much, but for those of you who don't know, this is Deadpool:
I think this describes Deadpool very accurately, minus the blood, gore, and general psychopathy.

Wrong! I've just been drawing things like humans and Batman and beagles. You know, things that aren't ponies or cute. (Heresy! Beagles are cute!) Like this one:
The giant emerald turned out fantastic (but now that I look at it, it's a little asymmetrical). Still, I really messed up trying to create Spot's color (I didn't have a color pencil exactly like his fur) and Rover turned out alright, except he has a bit of a round head (and his teeth!? My god I messed that up).
This is a blog I've been meaning to write for quite some time, as you may have gathered from the story tag. It's an explanation for my choices when associating the Elements of Harmony with the colors of card game magic. If you have no interest in me connecting Equestrian thaumology and Magic color philosophy (or how my thought process generally runs when planning a crossover,) then I'll see you next week. Everyone else, read on as I plumb new depths of nerdery.

I’ve been on a roll lately. I feel increasingly reinvigorated as I do more actually productive things that result in actually meaningful results. Going through pony stories again on a regular basis is nice, and I’m looking forward to watching the rest of the season 6 episodes I’ve been missing.
