Got back from watching The Batman.
As much I love The Dark Knight Trilogy and I think The Dark Knight is the greatest superhero movie, I honestly thought The Batman is the best Batman movie.
Pattinson's Batman spend more time as Batman than Bruce Wayne like more screen time on him wearing the batsuit.

Seriously, this could have worked out so well. Superman disappears for five years as per Returns, and Batman rises in his wake in Gotham. Then Clark comes back, he and Bruce are initially distrustful of each other before teaming up to take down a larger threat.
It could have been the best comic-book movie ever!

Hey, guys, Mr. J here.
For those of you who have seen my review of the said film from 2020, you know that it is my favorite animated Batman movie of all time. In fact, I would always watch the film quite often since I have the DVD thereof. The movie never gets old no matter how many times you watch it.
Let's first talk about the good stuff, because there's some good stuff. I really liked Henry Cavill as Superman. The effects were decent, even though sometimes it feels like Micheal Bay took over a little, and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor was A BLAST. He stole every single scene he was in.
Everything else, I didn't like that much. This is the first movie I walked out of thinking: "That was a bad movie."
Indulging one of my older fandoms today with a fanfic reading from Batman/Justice League. Specifically a Har;ey/Ivy tragedy story because ... well, it's me? You were expecting something light, bright and sparkling?
I never was the biggest Superman or Batman, let alone DC, fan out there. However, I did and still do respect these two great American icons for what they've brought into this world. Like Superman 64! My favorite game FUCKING EVER!!! But in all seriousness, I do enjoy Batman and Superman content every now and then.
Before I begin the official reviewing part, a little bit of background...
When I was very little, probably five, I would run home every day to watch Adam West's batman on public TV. I didn't have cable when I was very very little, but Batman was something I never missed. Every time, it would sign off: "Same bat time, same bat channel." I was incredibly and obsessively involved with this show, to the point where I would shout at the screen to try to help Batman or warn him of things. Oddly enough, from all my memories from that age, one sticks out in my mind
I remember one of my very fist regular series was Azrael. It was when I finally got a hold on internet downloading that I discovered "Sword of Azrael", plus the mega event that was the Knightfall-Knightquest-Knightsend trilogy that I got infatuated with the character of Jean-Paul Valley.
