Writing Plans Going Forward · 12:08am Jul 25th, 2020

A lot of you are probably wondering how my plans look now after I didn't update for a few months. So I figured writing a little entry to file you in. To make it simple:
I have made a decision about the release of Lemon Crumble's story. I had to open a thread in the Writer's Group since I didn't receive enough responses here, but it's decided now.
The story will get published either today or tomorrow. I will wind down a little now by watching the Finale again and once I've done that and if I still have the energy to write a blog entry that will accompany the release, I will go and publish it.
When the year had just started, in the middle of January, I made a plan for chapter releases of "Dreamwalker Dash" and "Letters to Cozy Glow". During the years from 2017 - 2019, my writing skill, as well as my discipline with updating multi-chapter stories, have declined a lot in the aftermath of a mentally stressful event at the beginning of 2017 whose effects on my mind and life lasted for about two and a half years.
As quoted from the latest status update of the “Release the WebbCuts” petition:
Having often thought about what other kinds of reasons for why a director's cut of all two "The Amazing Spider-Man" movies would be an absolute must, it dawned on me that a director's cut of the first film would serve as a perfect dedication for the late James Horner.
Australia's and Dutch's TV channels are crazy. They force my hooves to write a Pony Service Announcement.
Now with all this drama, I find myself worried that the story I finished for Lemon Crumble on Thursday will get overlooked because people associate her with drama now and feel reminded on the drama when seeing a story about her. Which is why I'm thinking about waiting for another week or so with releasing this story. But I'd like to get some input first.
Today, I will bring back "A Storm on the Horizon of the Arcane World". After many setbacks with this story, Fizzlepop Berrytwist's journey to becoming Tempest Shadow will finally begin. And because of this momentous occasion, it is the right time to inform you about the release schedules.
As quoted from the petition's main page:
Not too long ago, I took a gander at the two “The Amazing Spider-Man” films, the biggest reason for why being because I saw Andrew Garfield, Rhys Ifans, and Jamie Foxx reprise their respective roles from those movies in “Spider-Man: No Way Home”. I found the two films to be incredibly enjoyable and worthwhile, I’ll tell you that.
However, in spite of enjoying them, I also found myself underwhelmed.
As quoted from the “Release the WebbCuts” petition’s status update:
In the first movie, there was a character called Rajit Ratha. He was a manager at Oscorp, and he particularly oversaw Dr. Curt Connors’s limb regeneration project, with the full intent of taking the formula to a dying Norman Osborn if a successful one was made. Ironically, Ratha also played a key role in both Peter Parker becoming Spider-Man and Dr. Connors becoming the Lizard.
As quoted from the petition’s status update:
J. Michael Riva was an American production designer, born on June 20, 1948.
I hate to do this, but, "The Sky is Gone" will go on a small, two day release break for the holidays, both here and on my Patreon. I still wanted to update" The Sky is Gone" on the Hearth's Warming holidays, because I relaunched my Patreon account only a few days ago and have only just started with the new reward tier, but I am suddenly feeling the last four days.
I am back. A lot of you, especially my new followers I got in the last couple days (thank you for joining me here despite the inactivity!) are probably thinking I am dead and that I became a victim of the end of the show. That is not the case and I am now back and ready to tackle more writing than ever.
..... there is a problem with my multi-chapter fic for Tempest Shadow now.
When I saw the movie in October, I quickly developed a few theories about Tempest Shadow, based on some observations from the movie. One was that Tempest Shadow already came to the Storm King when she was still a filly, that the Storm King raised her and trained her to become the super soldier of his army, because he saw the potential in her.
Just yesterday, I mentioned a story that I was planning to bring back from the dead. Thanks to a recent burst of productivity and a fast editor, I've been able to do just that. I always go into a story with the intent to finish it, and I'm pleased to bring back another canceled fic. It's a fully-outlined story that I haven't touched since 2017... until yesterday. While the outline for the story already exists (along with the old version of the prelude) in Missing Pages, there will be a
Twilight's story is only half of it...

So, let's try this again, shall we? Last year, I had very similar writing plans and the coronavirus and the distractions it brought messed with all of them and jumbled everything and shook and mixed it into one big pile of chaos. But now there is a new year, new opportunities rise and I feel new
My lovely editors believe that the next chapter of Lover of the Moon needs a bit more polish (and I'll begrudgingly admit they're right), so here, have the next chapter of Children of the Sun to tide you over!
